Thanks Dak!

I hope you are not castigated for re-posting. To some it's worse than re-giving.

Jim deserves every penny that this site generates, minus expenses. If people don't want to contribute, they risk FR going away. I'm not willing to take that chance, so I'll keep ponying up during Freepathons. Value for Value.

Wow. Somehow I missed folks accusing Jim Robinson of ripping off donors. I think that's pretty stupid...I may not know much about computers, and ISP's. but I do know a site like this, with so many members, has gotta suck up bandwidth like a Hoover. Bandwidth is NOT cheap.

I'm glad I sent the small donation that I did. It wasn't much, but since I post here all the time, I figured I should contribute what I could for the bandwidth my posts suck up. LOL

TREMENDOUS CHEERS AND SUPPORT FOR JIM, JOHN AND FAMILIES.

I fully trust them.

They deserve at least double whatever they get from FR.

I was the only poster for a few months, but I kept sending my URL to search engines and trolled the news groups by reposting articles from the forum and eventually I picked up a few readers... and eventually some of the readers got the courage to try posting.

Like a dealer giving away "free samples". Give them a free "fix" and keep them coming back for more when they're addicted. Well, that anology isn't true. I can give up FReeping any time. Any time at all. Yes sir...(hitting "post" button multiple times under four different tabs in Firefox...)

This is from 1999, so I'm curious, what's "the rest of the story"?

The story of Mr. Robinson and this forum would make a great book/movie (hint hint).
