Wow. Somehow I missed folks accusing Jim Robinson of ripping off donors. I think that's pretty stupid...I may not know much about computers, and ISP's. but I do know a site like this, with so many members, has gotta suck up bandwidth like a Hoover. Bandwidth is NOT cheap.
I'm glad I sent the small donation that I did. It wasn't much, but since I post here all the time, I figured I should contribute what I could for the bandwidth my posts suck up. LOL
That's because you only got here last month; the internet is filled with sites who repeatedly say just that. dakine was kind enough to post the truth, leaving out the vile things that are spread by people who have a grudge against this site.
On one Freepathon thread, I posted "Pay to play" to the people on my ping lists; since then I have been accused of being in on "the plot" with Jim to fleece all the rest of you. And I mean repeated postings of it.
See what we're dealing with here?
IIRC, there were a few ringleaders of the "FR is ripping people off" stories. I think they all went over to L.P.
