John F. Kerry has indicated through sources close to the Democrat party that he intends file papers supporting the Green Party/Libertarian Party recount effort in Ohio.
Kerry's filings will consist of a request for expedited discovery as it pertains to a voting machine system known as Triad Systems, and secondly, a motion for a preservation order to preserve evidence in the same matter. These filings are to be made in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
Rep. John Conyer of Michigan and the ranking minority member of the House Judiciary Committee, has plans to ask the Federal Bureau of Investigation and a county prosecutor in Ohio today to explore "inappropriate and likely illegal election tampering" in at least one and perhaps several Ohio counties.
This follows the delivery of a sworn affidavit provided by the Hocking County deputy director of elections, Sherole Eaton, in which she alleges that a representative of Triad Governmental Systems, the Ohio firm that created and maintains the vote-counting software in dozens of Ohio counties, made several adjustments to the Hocking County tabulator last Friday, in advance of the state's recount, which is taking place this week.
I think it's funny, too, but I still wonder if it actually reduces the hamster hero's official electoral total.
Gee whiz, mister. We're winning all over the place and you want to vote from rooftops??? Put away that glowering expression and that rucksack and let's enjoy our incredible blessings this year!
You understand, of course, that is all just prelude to the coming impeachment and removal from office of George W. Bush. First Rumsfeld, then Dick Cheney, substituting John McCain (or maybe Chuck Hagel), then finally Bush himself.
It doesn't. The intent of those electors was to vote for John Kerry. Since there wasn't a John L. Kerry on the ballot it is a reasonable and proper assumption that the votes were for John F. Kerry.
Already checked this with an expert in the field.
Gotta have something to do on my day off!
This one fellow I respect says I got natural leader abilites. I doubt it but it's fun to try anyways.
I only point it out because there is nothing honorable about the man. Maybe John L. Kerry has some honor...at least enough to stay out of the lime-light.
Too bad. Thx for the info.
No problem.
Have a Merry Christmas!
An early Christmas present?
Same to you, and a happy "Giving Tree Festival." (I'd tell you who's line that is, but then I'd have to post her picture.)
And Congress opens the EVs when? January 6? That will be a very interesting day, I bet.
Lots of fodder for the DUmmy FUnnies threads.
Indeed.
Peej? You get this ping?
..LOL, but the first time you said that to me, you scared me to pieces!!----I couldn't think how to respond, so I just waited for someone else to :^
Do you realize that was 5 years ago???!!!!
"In the day's top story John F. Kerry of Massachusets will be sworn in as 44th President tomorrow, January 21, 2005 in an Oval Office ceremony.
It was determined that although no conclusive proof of fraud occurred in elections in Ohio, a Federal judge appointed by George HW Bush in 1989, declared there was a 'circumstantial case' significant enough to overturn the results of the November 2 election.
Although many people in the country DO remember seeing Senator Kerry 'concede' the day after the Nov. 2 election, no proof in the way of videotape still exists. There was some talk that FOX News had tape of the concession but a 3 Judge Federal Panel unanimously ordered FOX off the air forever. A producer at FOX who alledgedly had a copy of the tape was recently found dead in her apartment building in NYC. The apartment was in the same building as former CBS producer Mary Mapes, now the new CEO of the network. The aledged tape was confiscated by the FBI now headed by a team of former Kerry lawyers and an associate of Vladmir Putin.
So without evidence of the alledged concession by the Senator and the decision by the Federal Courts, America now enthusiastically awaits its new savior, Senator Kerry. The Senator has chosen a low key swearing in ceremony and no Inaugural Ball in order to better relate to the 'little' guy who is 'suffering so much in this country.'
His daughters, however, will attend a ball given in their father's honor at a nudist colony nearby. The modest daughters will wear clothing but in order not to offend the nudist hosts will wear see- thru gowns.
And that's the way it is, I'm Walter Cronkite subbing for new CBS anchor, Bill Clinton who will be back tomorrow night.
Heard John Kerry has involved himself in the Wash State Gov race recount. Will it never end?
LOL -best get that cat some warm milk.
Was he foolish enough to think several million people would forgive and forget what he did to them? Was he foolish enough to believe he'd win the popular vote because he has medals and Hollywood directed home movies but no policies? Was he foolish enough to insult 27 foreign allies in order to claim President Bush lacks diplomacy? Did he ever actually CATCH that football?
