"In the day's top story John F. Kerry of Massachusets will be sworn in as 44th President tomorrow, January 21, 2005 in an Oval Office ceremony.
It was determined that although no conclusive proof of fraud occurred in elections in Ohio, a Federal judge appointed by George HW Bush in 1989, declared there was a 'circumstantial case' significant enough to overturn the results of the November 2 election.
Although many people in the country DO remember seeing Senator Kerry 'concede' the day after the Nov. 2 election, no proof in the way of videotape still exists. There was some talk that FOX News had tape of the concession but a 3 Judge Federal Panel unanimously ordered FOX off the air forever. A producer at FOX who alledgedly had a copy of the tape was recently found dead in her apartment building in NYC. The apartment was in the same building as former CBS producer Mary Mapes, now the new CEO of the network. The aledged tape was confiscated by the FBI now headed by a team of former Kerry lawyers and an associate of Vladmir Putin.
So without evidence of the alledged concession by the Senator and the decision by the Federal Courts, America now enthusiastically awaits its new savior, Senator Kerry. The Senator has chosen a low key swearing in ceremony and no Inaugural Ball in order to better relate to the 'little' guy who is 'suffering so much in this country.'
His daughters, however, will attend a ball given in their father's honor at a nudist colony nearby. The modest daughters will wear clothing but in order not to offend the nudist hosts will wear see- thru gowns.
And that's the way it is, I'm Walter Cronkite subbing for new CBS anchor, Bill Clinton who will be back tomorrow night.
Hee Hee Hee! Very good.
"Concession" is a contingency not covered in the Constitution, though. It deals with votes, methods, counting, and a schedule for how it is put together.
McAuliffe, I believe, stated that Kerry's concession was not legally binding. So no need to drive Fox off the air.
