A thread that I started got pulled without explanation by a Jim Robinson. I'm new here and don't know how to ask the appropriate person (Jim Robinson) why. How do I do that please?
You may even have to use the "Smite" key....

Funny thing, I got Zotted by Darksheare himself on my first post. I didn't get pulled though, but I did pull the Zot train for about eight hours till I went off the clock and had to go home. But I enjoyed all the Kitty graphics. I did get pulled one time for a duplicate.

This is not germaine to this issue, but I have been having problems accessing FreeRepublic where I didn't have a problem before. There seems to be a "blocking" device that will not allow me access which states "due to unsuitable content, website access is not available." I can sometimes work around on Yahoo to access FreeRepublic, but most of the time I cannot. Have tried going through Internet Options on Tools, but nothing irregular pops up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. (Have deleted temporary files on Internet but that didn't seem to make any difference).

Howdy queenkathy. It is a VERY closely guarded secret, so don't tell anyone. You will be disappointed how low-tech it really is. If you scan an article and want to save it for later, hit reply, delete the to user and put queenkathy into that box. Essentially it is a post from and to yourself. Putting ping in the body of the text is just a standard practice. It doesn't make anything happen automatically (wish it did). Ping lists are a bit more complicated. You manually create a list of members on your ping list with the names seperated by a semicolon on notepad or whatever word processor you use. Save the file and later on you cut and paste it into the "To:" box when you want to forward the post to others. All the foo-foo with fancy ping logos and banners is just old posters showing off their HTML prowess. They keep the logo in a file to cut and paste in a flash to dress up their ping list.
