ZOT! How does one contact a Free Republic "representative?"

A thread that I started got pulled without explanation by a Jim Robinson. I'm new here and don't know how to ask the appropriate person (Jim Robinson) why. How do I do that please?

Likely it was pulled because "wetbacks" is likely considered a derogatory term and would lead to FR being sued by the ACLU. The ACLU would love any excuse to get rid of FR.

I agree. I've read the posts here and am truly amazed at some of the gratuitous, unpleasant remarks over what appeared to me to be a reasonable question. Let's face it, not everyone is as familiar with the "Rules" here (Including me) as some of the veterans. Why not just help a person out rather than criticize or make snide comments?

Spikey, I'm also in Wis. I've been here almost 8 years. I've never had a thread pulled (although I don't post one every time a thought pops into my head.) I've never been banned or even warned. Read the posting guidelines, play by the rules and don't do anything to PO Jim Robinson or you'll be kitty meat!

Comeon, you have to admit that FreeRepublic does have its share.

It's one thing if someone's around for a few months and has a bit of a history of cogent posts to lament about the insufficient number of brain cells of other denizens of FreeRepublic, but another for a Newbie to jump on board and cop an attitude so quickly.

Though I'll give SpikeyInWis points for continued duking it out on this thread.

Sounds like it might have been a "vanity." These are discouraged, although some vanities pass muster--often because they're so well-written and insightful, they're better than MSM anyway. Several Freepers post those semi-regularly, and I always watch for them. Other vanities are just one liners without any discernible purpose except someone just thought they'd post their latest thought. Those often get removed quickly. Vanities can be posted in the "chat" section usually, though.
