A thread that I started got pulled without explanation by a Jim Robinson. I'm new here and don't know how to ask the appropriate person (Jim Robinson) why. How do I do that please?

I agree. I've read the posts here and am truly amazed at some of the gratuitous, unpleasant remarks over what appeared to me to be a reasonable question. Let's face it, not everyone is as familiar with the "Rules" here (Including me) as some of the veterans. Why not just help a person out rather than criticize or make snide comments?

LOL, sit back newbie and learn a little about the FR website before you begin spouting off. Right now, you all but asked to be used as a badminton birdie.
I once got a post pulled by "The Man". I asked him why and he told me. I didn't exactly agree at the time, but I understood why he did it. In retrospect, he was right, I was wrong. Hopefully you will find out why and that will be that.

FreeRepublic was and is where a conservative(wow, me calling myself a conservative, i just heard ancestors rolling over over) can come and be themselves...and it feels great.

We welcome everyone in FreeRepublic. Usually Newbies don't read the rules and post things with out knowing that they are breaking the rules. Jim Rob will yank it off the threads. Take it as a learning lesson. Lurk around, learn the lingo and enjoy the postings. You may see some exiting gifs and photos especially when the Kitties arrive.
It is usually best for newbies to read and see the responsesbefore posting.

Since you're a newbie...freepers like to have fun with newbies. So just ignore them...once you've been here for a while...you'll understand completely. In fact, most likely you'll be acting just like them soon. ;o)
