I read an, um, interesting interview with some Imam or other about the process one must go through before one can legally beat one's wife under Shari'a Law. All I can say is those people are very frightening.
OK, fair enough. I'll let the wife know that after I'm done beating her, she can go have experience the same Islamic fun I had by beating up on some homosexuals.
Sheesh. And WE'RE trying to "Westernize" and "Democratize" this crap? Sheesh.

Agreed, although I would suggest that they are not only frightening but they are extremely dangerous as well. Islam is currently the fastest-growing religion in Ireland, and likely other countries as well. The subhuman ideas espoused in these videos are embraced by millions all over the world, and they are not interested in discourse. They are interested only in killing those who disagree, by any means necessary.
We are in a fight for our lives and our civilization, despite what some moderate voices may say. It's essential that we all learn from the enemy so that we are aware of the nearly unbelievable level of their hate and depravity, and take it extremely seriously, as our future and our children's future depends upon how we deal with this threat.

I wrote this a while ago. I mean every word of it:
The entire West ( dare I say "the civilized World?" ) is locked in a fight to the death with militant Islam.
There will be no second-place winner, no "third way" solution-- it is March or Die time, folks.
It is Us versus an eighth-century "culture" of plunder & pillage, forced religious "conversions," and the mistreatment of women.
The sooner we face up to this fact realistically and quit dancing around PC talking-point nonsense about diversity and tolerance, the better off we'll all be.
We did not pick this fight- which really has roots in Jimmy Carter's appeasement in 1979 of militants- but we had damned well better see it for what it is, and be prepared to face it and finish it.
I'll put it in raw, personal terms-- I don't want Sharia law visited upon my women, and I don't want a goat-roper "culture" infesting my land.
I don't want their vile, nasty, loathsome weapons of mass destruction loosed upon my fair country, either.
They picked the fight, and now it is up to us to finish it- balls to the wall, hammer and anvil, fire and blood and iron... freedom is never, ever free, and the coin you pay it in is men's lives and tears and blood.
What we saw during Gulf War I was our military doctrine ( high tech ) versus Soviet doctrine ( throw a lot of low tech iron at the problem )-- and we all know how that turned out.
What we have just seen in the 3-Week War is Information-Tech,
( What some are calling it Hyperwarfare... )
or 21st Century warfare versus 20th Century...
What I would suggest, and call your attention to, is the fact that we, and Israel, are capable of waging 21st Century warfare, and the entire Arab world is not.
Proven fact, by recent events.
One more thing- this will be a war where we are all called to be warriors- so I suggest to you that the time has come to get hard, and stay hard... it really is the time for Fire and Blood and Iron...

That's fascinating, I hadn't heard that. Would this be the same London Mayor who has the nickname "Red" due to his Communist sympathies? Historically, Islam has had warm relations with Nazis, who in turn hated the Communists. Perhaps the Commies are reaching out, in a spirit of bipartisanship?

Indeed. The Muslims are leading the world into the next true World War. We in the West will emerge victorious, I'm certain, but only after the soldiers of Allah have suffered tens or hundreds of millions of caualties from bombs, bullets, and yes, radiation poisoning.
It is disgraceful that groups of settlers originating in the Khazar Jews who converted to Judaism in 740, or the Sephardi Jews originating in the Iberian Peninsula, who converted in Spain and North Africa, and catastrophically showed up here all of a sudden in the 19th century. It is disgraceful that they make false claims. They remind us of parasitical marine worms who eat a certain type of snail and afterwards settle in its shell. Even in Arthur Miller's The Crucible, a parable about "McCarthyism", there are practicing witches. We have been lulled as to the threat that the communists in the US government institutions and media posed then and the distortions they still propagate (the initial antiIraq war movement was a communist funded enterprise). McCarthy was right (and the "Red Scare" even predated Senator McCarthy, The Crucible was written before his heyday).
That said, you can look at Ask The Imam and still find plenty of posts warning about jeanies/genies/jinis, djins so your point does hold.
