Come tomorrow, the vote will be certified for Bush. Meaning that the 20 Ohio electors FOR BUSH will have met the Safe Harbor provisions. Only the house can challenge them. Are you sure on this one? This is not what I heard Mr. Blackwell saying on MSNBC yesterday -

Obviously the frivolous Left has no compassion for the poor and hungry of Ohio. Shoot, there are children going without condoms!I live in a state with the 3rd highest taxes and the kids still go condomless? This is an outrage.

Right, but once the vote is certified ONLY THE HOUSE CAN CHALLENGE THE SLATE OF ELECTORS.

I just heard on the news that this person they are filing on behalf of only got one vote in all of Delaware County! And that one vote was a write in! I don't know what Kerry/Edwards are up to but this smells fishy.

Can i ask you all something? Shouldnt we send some big guns down there to put this sh*t to sleep? Can't we just bumrush the whole thing and knock them out with people, lawyers, etc?? Scare them to death, and just knock them out?? Or do you think it would draw too much attention?

Who gets to pay for this 'recount'?The tax payers of the state of Ohio net the small fee paid by the Left.

Now we know what "the plan" is.

Looks like they felt obligated, since they are the true party affected.
Now it is a Dem recount and not a Green party and that eliminates the possibility of it being dismissed by a judge.
I fully expect the count to be identical. They are not dealing with goofy chad laws like in Florida. There will be no significant changes in the count, court interventions and the like, and the Electoral College meets in less than two weeks.
I think they are spending money that was collected for this purpose and need to spend it.

Just reported on Foxnews! The recount was done..and Raplh Mader received less than 10 more votes total.
Easy there... accuracy is still important.
What Fox reported was the hand recount of 11 precincts in New Hampshire where Nader received less than 10 additional votes.

Under Ohio law, a recount can take place ONLY AFTER THE VOTE IS CERTIFIED. This is protect the Ohio Slate of Electors. Don't you remember Bush V Gore, Per Curiam??? If a recount were to take place before, there is a possiblity that the Ohio Sec of State would not meet the "Safe Harbor" provision of U.S. Electoral law.
