I date a lady that is an Advanced Placement English teacher at a high school in one of the the richest communities in our State (Mississippi). The other night she told me (to my astonishment) that her students don't have A.P. textbooks, she teaches from novels and a sample "teacher's edition" of a regular English textbook. The school district can't afford AP books. I asked her "what do the kids in the Delta[poorest part of the State--one of the poorest places in the US]do for books?" She replied; "they don't have any, at all." Just goes to show you how great that Democratic "war on poverty" and caring for the downtrodden (especially African-Americans--the majority in the Delta)has worked out. But they are fine with spending millions of taxpayer dollars on frivolous recounts and lawsuits to "make sure every vote is counted", blah, blah, blah...
