Hey, "conservatives", here's the latest plan from our newly re-elected "conservative". His buddy Sr. Fox put it this way:

"The initiatives entail the recognition of all those (Mexicans) who have worked in the United States legally or otherwise, so they will have the right to the savings they accumulated while working in the neighboring country,"

Yessirree, this sounds like a real "conservative" initiative: social welfare money for foreign criminals. If it passes, the stampede can only accelerate. And the bankrupt Social Security IOU pile will get worse.

Now that President Bush has been re-elected, we should be safe in assuming that every recommendation he makes from now on is what he really believes in.

"Mexican workers who paid into Social Security in the United States will be refunded their contributions when they return to their homeland"

Works for me.

Good, give them their savings, deduct any government services received by them or their family, deport them and identify the lawbreaking employers for fines.

So what does Mexico have to legislate for this? Why are they to introduce legislation?

This sounds like another raid on Social Security to me. Sneak across the border, steal some poor saps social security number and work a few months, and then go home with the whole bundle?

Meanwhile poor-sap is none the wiser.

Rinse, Repeat.

Mexico and Washington agreed to introduce similar legislative initiatives whereby Mexican workers who paid into Social Security in the United States will be refunded their contributions when they return to their homeland,

If they paid into SS using their own SS#, and all they get back is what they paid in, then I don't have a particular problem with this. So long as they are not on SS benefits in perpetuity, and only receive the $ they paid in ... OK. I can live with it. I just wish the government would send me in one lump sum all the money I have paid in to SS. I could put that money to better use than the government.

Or otherwise? WTF? You should lose all benefits for being in this country illegally. You don't get to keep the fruits of illegal activity.

QUITO, Ecuador Mexico and Washington agreed to introduce similar legislative initiatives whereby Mexican workers who paid into Social Security in the United States will be refunded their contributions when they return to their homeland, President Vicente Fox said here Monday.

I'd love to have that deal, how do I get it?

Just give me all my money back, you can keep the interest, and we'll call it all square.

The congress will have something to say about this, and the House especially will not be kind to this type of crap being peddled.

Mark my words, this will happen.

Our Constitution states that we shall have no taxation without representation.

Before too long this will be used as an argument to give these SS tax paying 'visiting workers' a say in our elections.

Just watch.
