(Option 1) Say your prayers.

(Option 2) save all your money and dig an underground bunker in Mexico before Hillary becomes president, because she will probably cause WWIII.

That's the opposite of what I was told.

Too bad. Tonight, you have been told the truth. Signed: Nuclear Engineer

That would make a lot of sense, but I don't believe that I will know what's going on while the plane is still in the air, or, do I generally drive in the opposite direction of all crop dusters?

I do not remember what components of the by-product of a fusion fission explosion occur, but the Pot Iod is somewhat effective for the majority of the radioactive by products,

False.

and it is USELESS against simple uranium by pruducts and their effects on the body from a conventional explosion.

You have just described a dirty bomb.

To me, all of them are chemicals.

Of course, but some are radioactive.

Or we can all glow in the dark like "glo-sticks".

If the Dems. had gotten elected, she would have had to shoot it down with "spitballs" ala Zell Miller.

Your questions must be more detailed, with your specific location information and housing type.

1. "The Disaster Survival Manual" by Ted Wright.

2. "Blackout" by Chuck Harder.

3. Radios and batteries in metal tins, for EMP protection.

Read, then ask questions.

OK. One more time, but slower. When if ever would potassium iodine be used? Thanks!

I live out in rural area so planning to survive after an event makes sense. The fine line between paranoid and prepared can only be seen in retrospect.

Great answer, I always advised concerning the traffic problem her in NYC, to turn all street signs north and let upstate deal with it. Same difference, no?

>>potassium iodine>>

This protects your thyroid in case of a nuclear issue.

Out in the sticks, you must know wind patterns to track fallout.

Although it mentions dirty bombs, I would suspect that dirty bombs would use commercial radioisotopes which would not spread radioacive iodine. You live in a rural area. Don't worry, be happy. They will use the dirty bomb in a populated area.
