I am being sued for something that happened at the December 2000 Freep of Joe Lieberman.
JimRob has allowed me to hold an internet fundraiser to help defray the costs of my lawyers fees.
I am broke and thousands of dollars in debt, and depending on how much I can collect here, I amnot sure if I can continue or work to sign a mutual release if offered.
Right now, we have ended the discovery phase, and are awaiting the deposition of the man who accused me of assaulting him that day.
That charge is a lie.
The following story below is my short account of what happened that day.

However, I am a little worried that your lawyer is charging you so much money. I had a similar case years ago, and they usually end in plea-bargin between defense & state's attorney. STET (?) Docket.
Plus, this guy has a criminal past and aggressive campaign tactics. I don't see how a judge would rule in his favor. However, we know how the law works in this country, sometimes, for the little guy. Good luck.
I received payments also, but my account is a personal one and they didn't take a fee.If you are set up as an account that accepts credit cards as opposed to transfers then maybe that is the key to the difference.I realized that in the middle of the night! lol

Have you talked to the "New Haven Advocate"? They sound lefty, but they also sound like they hate this thug.
If it was me, I'd be wanting to go looking for my Hayduke books...but I suppose a defendant himself can't get involved in stuff like that.

Commenting generally, this "reverend" looks like a professional malcontent, agitator, and troublemaker to me- unfortunately, most judges will let a trial go to a jury, despite such outward appearances. We really need reform around the "loser pays" idea.
