We have to remember that the jury has the 2nd degree murder option as well as the 1st, which (unless I'm wrong) won't get him the death penalty in CA.

The alternate jurors did not participate in deliberations. When a new one was added they were instructed to begin deliberations anew.

Rassmussen says the likely verdict is withing the margin of error. It depends on which way the undecideds break.

Let's hope. I not sure he did it... The prosecution put on a piss poor case evident wise and relied on all emotion ...I was almost hoping for a hung jury as to not the let him off and have the prosecution make a better case....
If it is guilty... I'm make a bet it will be overturn what with jurors being removed

They "deliberated" (ahem) for about 3 or 4 hoursThey were probably brainstorming for book titles.

I wish they would quit asking the jury guy - Jason Falconer-one who got kicked off first about his opinion he's an idiot and eating up his 15 minutes with a spoon! Common sense says he did it but one has to remember this is a California jury so anything could happen.
To: Howlin
they are the blue state voters. when I serve jury duty in NY, believe me, these kooks are out there.
To: xzins
Justin was only on the case as a juror for 4 weeks!

I can't wait for the riots to start after he is found guilty.
What? There haven't been any threats of violence?

The evidence is all circumstantial, except for one hair. I disagree. Scott placing his alibi at the very place the bodies were found IS physical evidence.

If he is acquitted, I think the family of Laci will find a way to exact the justice California could not deliver. But I still think he will be convicted. He will get the same treatment as Jeffrey Dahlmer got in prison. Lights out, only slowly and without phenobarbital or valium.

And, of course, everything hinges on turnout.

Leaving supposition and feelings out of it, can someone, anyone tell me what evidence there is that he did it? She had no enemies, was not a victim of robbery, rape nor found in a park, but was found 90 miles from her home precisely where her husband went fishing the day she disappeared. Can you think of anyone else that could/would have done it?

Probably.
While Mama sits at home and records all of his appearances for his future in Hollywood as a legal analyst. Or to remind him of what he said when he gets ready to write his book.
