That monthly income only lasts as long as those who made the promise aren't in a smoking hole.

Hey, she's the "wife" of a mass-murdering terrorist. Sort of like a First Lady.
The stupid Moos no doubt would see this as appropriate.

She'll never see the money. The Palis will backstab her by never mailing the checks.
In return, the French will never permit her to be kicked out of her apartment for non-payment.

Last July, Yassir Arafat sent his wife $11 million to cover her 'living expenses' and those of her daughter for six months-$1.8 million per month. The new accord guarantees her the same allowance from the Palestinian Authority as a regular annual remittance, $22 million per annum for the rest of her life.If the Palestinian people put up with this, it'll be one more reason on a long list of reasons why they don't deserve their own state.

... The Palestinian leadership in the West Bank and Gaza, however, has picked Mahmoud Abbas, alias Abu Mazen, to head the PLO while Prime Minister Ahmed Qorei will take over Arafats executive responsibilities in a period of transition. Kaddoumi was in Paris earlier this week reportedly to see the will that Arafat is supposed to have signed giving Suha full authority over the familys fortune estimated at between $4. 5billion and $6. 5billion.
Qorei, however, has denied that there is a will, raising speculation about the possibility that members of Arafats close entourage may well have asked him to sign something at a time he would not have been in possession of his full faculties.
but...
El-Jazeera: Arafats Will Calls for Cairo Funeral & Jerusalem Burial
el-Jazeera news agency is reporting that Yasser Arafats will calls for a funeral service in Cairo and temporary interment to be followed by eventually being laid to rest in Jerusalem. The never-ending rumors surrounding his condition also report preparations are underway for a Ramallah burial service and he will be laid to rest near his Mukata compound. PA officials add that at some time in the future, he will be laid to rest on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, when it is the capital of Palestine.
Senior Channel 2 correspondent Ehud Yaari commented earlier tonight that no official request has been made by the PA to Jerusalem regarding a Ramallah burial. Until now, the prime minister has indicated Israel would only permit Arafat to be buried in Gaza.
