(CNSNews.com) - Bloggers on the liberal Democratic Underground website have overwhelmingly labeled Nov. 3, 2004, the day after Election Day, "more depressing" than Sept. 11, 2001 in a poll of online members.
Seventy-two percent of poll takers said they believed the day Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) conceded defeat in the presidential election was more tragic than the day more than 3,000 Americans were killed in the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York, the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and on a hijacked plane that crashed in a Pennsylvania field.
One member, "Big Blue Marble," said "I have lived 61 years, lost my parents and my sister plus many many pets and this is the darkest day of my life."
Another member, "zulchzulu," implied that he/she would like to see President Bush dead. "We can only hope that Bush doesn't make it through four years," he/she said. "The day Bush is no longer president before the term ends will be a national week-long holiday in my World."
Another blogger imagined that because of President Bush's victory in the election, "there will be another 9/11."
However, not all of the Democratic Underground's members joined in the Bush-bashing. "Independent429" chastised others who had compared the election aftermath to 9/11. "Living breathing human beings died that day! How can that compare to losing an election?" He/she added, that, "I've been a Democrat for three days and already feel like going back to Independent!"
Another member who uses the moniker, "Bush was AWOL" said "comparing losing an election to 9/11 is not mainstream and is why we lose."
"NurseLefty" responded by saying that those who think 9/11 is worse are short-sighted. He/she said that there are "those of us who see the ramifications of the second Bush term. Sorry my friends, it [Nov. 3] IS worse than 9/11."

It's such a shame when the left gets all blogged up. Perhaps some ex-lax would help.
These folks are nuts.
It's all about "me," for the DU'ers.
Proof once again that context and relativity are concepts beyond the capabilites of the far left...
OMG! It's making rounds in the media already?
Get this to Brit Hume!
Except when it comes to moral relativism.
This is sick.
There's a major fight going on on DU...they've turned against each other.
Those who are willing to let the party get taken down for the sake of gay marriage and those that are not willing to stand for that one issue and lose even more political ground.
Talk about being used.
The widows complained about Dubya using 9/11 in ads and now the Dems tell them to go screw themselves.
At least whores get callbacks.
Rush talked about it on his show today.
For some reason Rush calls it democratsunderground
They are not "bloggers". CNS does a dis-service to true bloggers, which now includes Michelle Malkin and David Limbaugh, etc.
These are the air-heads that started turning on Kerry after the election result was official. There ain't nothing that anybody can do for them, and if anyone tries, target and expose them as fools.
They evidently didn't lose anyone in 9/11. Or have sympathy for those that did.
They are confused. There's no hope for them.
They've had life far too easy!
Let the terrorists do something to them.
They'd probably think they, themselves deserved it.
This is called being off their rockers, in my area of the world! Or demented, in other parts. Down-right wicked in still others.
But for the most part they are EVIL!!!
What is very telling about the state of liberal thought in this country is that anyone who closely watches their rhetoric is not surprised by this sort of comment. They are angry bitter people incapable of sound reason and contextual placement. Their thought process is Emotionally charged and reckless. This combination of of anger and reason based on emotion is very dangerous and it's why we must keep them out of power for the foreseeable future.
