Not to worry. Once all of the Hollywood gliterati and the other self-appointed intelligencia leave the country as they promised they would if W won, there will be plenty of housing available for the homeless.

Remember when homeless were called "bums" or "hobos"? That was much more fun. A bum and a hobo or a tramp were not exactly the same thing.
Bums were always bums and usually had substance abuse problems. Tramps and hobos might be bums as well but there were more then a few who just liked the traveling life.
They were the "Homeless by choice"

Can we buy these lamps on the web? I'm sure there are many evil Cheney/Halliburton items on eBay.

That was almost a keyboard ruiner.
By the way I had a 6 month contract in Oakland and lived in Walnut Creek. Really enjoyed visiting your neck of the state. As requested I only visited then I came home, North Georgia.

Well, there were no homeless when Clinton left office. Just look at what Bush has done, we now have millions in the streets. Horrible, just horrible.

I like the UK formulation: "Rough sleepers".

"Remember when homeless were called "bums" or "hobos"? That was much more fun."I sure remember.
Didn't make you feel guilty back then. That's when we knew that they wanted to live that way.
I use to want to be a hobo, when I grew up. Now that I think about it, I still do.

Remember when hippies were called "beatniks". I think beatniks were hippies without the drugs.

I really enjoyed the weekends when main street was foot traffic only. Nice clean little town. Problem was, being from the Georgia hills I'm used to having greenery all year, those hills sure got brown.
A really nice place to visit and I'm sure to grow up. I'm just old coast due to generations of environmental adjustment you new coast folks have a different surrounding. It moves more for one thing and has real mountains, we got hills.
Sorry got to rambling.
