I am thinking that as a bipartisan move, President Bush should appoint Sen. Kerry to be our next Ambassador to France.

Perhaps we could all begin by understanding that "reaching" involved a 50:50 effort on both sides. I, for one, believe they are beyond help.

Send each of them an autographed "flight suit" picture, suitable for framing.

They need to reach out to us. As long as they keep saying we're just a bunch of dumb rubes, we'll keep winning elections. They need to re-examine their premises, from guns to abortion, and quit dismissing our position as one of ignorance.

I think Kerry should become Ambasador to Sudan. That way he can see the wonders of his global vision first hand.

Of that 48% only about <10% is reachable.

Put in place the NRST, and let everybody pay a fair share of taxes based on what they buy.
If those 48% have to start paying taxes, they will come around from the dark side quickly!

Bush shouldn't reach to the opposition. He should inform them that their views are always welcome and that he takes them under advisement.
