I want to apologize. Yesterday, as the exit polls broke, I began to panic. Was packing my survival gear and looking at the topo map. Unfortunately, some of my posts reflected this state of near melt down. Pres Kerry? The universe couldn't be that cruel.
Should have had faith. I apologize for that.
But I sure feel great now !!!!
Don't feel bad. There was a concentrated effort (media, dems) to keep republicans from voting via exit polls.Heck,Drudge,Fox and Hannity fell for it.
It's called "Temporary Insanity"
Why can't we stop listening to the media. I know everybody is still fooled by these idiots but when is it going to stop!!
It's official THE....... MEDIA .......LIES!!!!!!!!!
and Italians love David Hasselhoff.
Why don't people understand these 2 things!!
"keep your powder dry"
forget the powder. had the bow packed.
"There was never any doubt in my mind."
Me neither! I refused to swallow the propaganda of the MSM - and rejected any and all polls since the debates. It helped me keep my peace and sanity. The power of faith, prayer, optimism, hope, and "we,the people" is - I'm happy to see - still alive and worth something in this country. That's good news for my kids. God Bless America and GWB!
Your penalty is to call Ohio and ask if they have provisional Edward in a can.
HA, you too?!!
?you in DC? Me too - the commute into Downtown was mighty quiet this morning. Get well soon & enjoy this most beautiful city.
Anxiety was huge for many of us. Specially those of us in Kerry states. We feel so horrible that our neighbors can vote for this jerk.
Dont worry about it...we won anyway
I hadn't noticed any of that, but if someone were to scan my comments in detail they'd find that I had been predicting Bush by a landslide. Oh well, as long as he wins...!
Nevertheless, there are quite a few seasoned Freepers that have taught me a few things about keeping a level head during election night. I learned quite a bit by lurking before I started posting.
Fear not, this happened to many people yesterday and the day before. That was what was SUPPOSED to happen, by design. As Rush says, MSM "psy ops." But the MSM failed. Thank you, God!
Relax and have a cup of coffee. When I turned in last night I didn't know what the landscape would look like this morning either. Just the thought of "you know who" leading our troops scared the hell out of me. As it turned out, the majority of people did the right thing. I find great comfort in that.
By Saturday I was forming an ulcer, depressed, and in a state of disbelief as realclearpolitics took a nose dive for Bush and skyrocketed for Kerry. After weeks of great averages the day before the election, a Hallowen trick was being purp'd on all of us. Between the mass media, the exit polsters, and the DNC lies...one can only wonder if hell, surrounded by demons, could be any worse? Your forgiven...
I'm sure most of us had a few moments of panic, even if unspoken. It was pretty stressful!
I thought the same thing. I wonder how many republicans didn't go and vote because the media was calling the race for Kerry to win all day yesterday.
Well.. I apologize for suggesting that all pessimistic freepers be suspended for a week.
I'm afraid to drive down there this week with my W04 and Bush-Cheney 2004 stickers on my car. Those Dims are going to be so hoppin' mad that they might take it out on my car, which just happens to be an SUV, and we all know how those hybrid-driving nut cases in the District feel about SUVs!
