On the South states "too close to call" I saw Brit Hume say this for either VA or NC just now. Reason is they only had 1% of precincts reporting and Kerry up by like 15. Obviously not a good sample.

Hover over the states on the map with your mouse
W Viginia has a small population compared to S & N Carolina, be patient.
"SC and NC are too close to call???"
It just depends on how quick the states are to get information in.
Again, NC and VA? What is going on....not reporting from REP areas?
yes, WVa was expected.
May have already been posted, but C-SPAN has a really cool map to track the results at http://network.ap.org/dynamic/files/specials/election_night_2004/us_map_govsenhouse/index.html?SITE=CSPANELN&SECTION=POLITICS
I posted to another guy. I'm in too. Saturday's the day.
I came home from work and fixed snacks, hot chocolate among other things but I can't think about eating anything now...my stomach is in knots.
Go W go!
West Virginia for GW, per CBS.
I'm in conservative h*ll here, I only get CBS, CNN, and NBC. But the NBC affiliate is out of Detroit and they're going local, discussing the NAACP lawsuit filed today against those horrible Republicans who apparently intimidated some African-American voters.
Free Republic becomes a vast support group on election night.
haa-haa! I am so glad to have FR tonight to help keep my sanity. My husband is still out--I think he will just stay gone till this is over, I get so crazy! Last time I only had the TV and they drove me NUTS!!!
Virginia FReepers warning me to be patient... supposedly they're looking at northern VA precincts first...
A number of trolls will blow their cover tonight. You can spot them by their insistent downer mentality (spun as "realism") while showing themselves sympathetic to the cause.
Just saw on local tv---that Mason, OHio (heavy Bush county) people are still voting... they've been standing in line for 2-1/2 hours.
I'll have yours. I'm snacking like nuts.
They're prolonging the agony - their own, that is.
7:30pm totals per cspan.org:
Bush: 34
sKerry: 3
Has anyone visited DU land lately to gauge what they are saying?
I really can't. So, I went to Publix and bought a couple of canolis.
Now, let's take Ohio!
Nice to see that Mehlman is on TV talking some smack.
Be Seeing You,
Chris
EXIT POLL SHOWS : MEN : BUSH 56 KERRY 42 --- 43% of ELECTORATE
WOMEN : BUSH 50 KERRY 50 ---- 57% of ELECTORATE
If the Red Sox are the only ones in Massachusetts who win anything this year (e.g. Kerry loses), I'll be one happy camper!
