If Bush wins again, I fear for America [Barf alert, obviously]

... Americans relied on their commander in chief when the monster of our nightmares brought real fear into our daily lives.
Instead of comforting those fears, Bush exploited them.
I know my country's strengths and I know my country's weaknesses. I know the deadly consequence when this country simultaneously grappled with fear, guilt and power. The three elements almost wiped out a nation of Native Americans. Paranoia and guilt triggered violent and deadly reprisals from slave owners when slaves revolted. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, it was fear and power that influenced the decision to drop an atomic bomb not once, but twice, on Japan. Then, in the 1950s, fear of Communist infiltration destroyed careers, snatched civil liberties and imprisoned too many innocent Americans.
Americans fear the foreigner we don't understand. We're comforted by the fact that we have the military might to obliterate our enemies. Yet, there's guilt. Behind the facade of patriotism and talk of global democracy, we know today's "terrorists" were yesterday's allies, puppets and business partners.
Bush played to America's dark side.
After the terrorists' attack, the world turned to our young country with open arms of compassion and support. Instead of accepting the embrace of humanity, Bush and his posse of neoconservatives set out on a lone Utopian mission, seemingly endorsed by God, to tame Arab nations. ...

Agreed.
Don't lose your head today. Leave the computer behind for a while. Take a walk outdoors. Enjoy yourself. Life's too short.

Just another left wing article in The St Louis Post Disgrace.
"Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar."
A great tagline for Impeached X42.

I speak for no one other than myself when I unequivocally state I have read similar articles daily for months now. Some contained more rant or sensitivity. No new data here. Let's move on.

If Kerry wins the glass is still half full
Impeachment...trial for treason....he is shown publicly for the traitor he truly is....
He gives up his senate seat as an added bonus...Edwards is an attenuated president....all dems will be discredited
Hillary cant run and win...
GW could always come back again....
And with a big majority in the senate and the house the Supreme court could become what it once was...
Activist judges done away with ...all Clintonistas purged from all agencies...
Life could be very good with a Kerry short term presidency...and impeachment
Kerry should be very afraid to take the job if he wins....he may not like what Vietnam vets are going to teach him...and when all of America finds out what he really is..and has done....
well he will never find a place open or welcome to him and his wretched Terraza...from Mozambique (is it true her family once owned slaves?)
Congress will be pretty shook up and...who knows.... might actually do their jobs and get rid the nation of John Forbes Kerry...once and for all times....
All kids of interesting and positive possibilities...
I am optimistic either way...

Today we have MANY Socialists in higher education, courts, and elected office. It remains a threat to our nation (second only to Islamofascism).Excellent point. But, I'm not so sure Socialism is second. At least we can all see Islamofacism well enough to identify it and deal with it swiftly. On the other hand, Socialism has been with us so long and has become so deeply entrenched that the people have gotten used to it, even embraced it.
Thus, ridding our body of Socialism promises to be like getting rid of leukemia or bone cancer. In a relative sense, Islamofacism seems more like a relatively well-contained tumor at this point. Detected early, we can cut it out and hope for the best.

As someone who unfortunately has to read the Post Disgrace each day, I want to apologize to the rest of the country for this stuff.
Sylvester believes that he is fair an impartial observer of events. However, he is a racist hack.

Now you see how we suffer here in St. Louis with the Post-Disgrace (uh, Dispatch.)

Snow quoted a poll the other day,
76% of BOTH sides think that there will be terrible consequences if the opposition wins.
