As many of you know, I'm running for State Representative here in Philadelphia. I've been out visiting the polling sites in my district this morning and here's what I've seen in just the 2 1/2 hours I've been out:
29th and Morris- Two union thugs were handing out Kerry stickers to people entering the polling area (of course, it's illegal to actually wear or present that in the polling area). I watched for about five minutes until a woman came by and turned them down. Immediately they started screaming "We've got a Bush supporter here!' and blocking her way. The woman turned and left. I entered and spoke to the judge of elections. He said he'd spoken to the police but didn't know when something would be done.
18th and Morris- Two young hippies were standing within 100' of the polling place asking names and displaying Kerry signs/buttons/etc.
16th and Shunk- Two Vietnamese American poll watchers left the polling place after being threatened by the Democratic poll watchers.
15th and Reed- One Vietnamese American poll watcher left the polling place after being threatened by the judge of elections.
12th and Moore- Union thugs standing next to the sign in and voting machines.
42nd and Baltimore- Met a man who was unable to vote because someone else had already voted in his name.
20th and Chestnut- 2 hippies were standing outside the polling area asking people's names.
6th and Pine- 3 aged hippies standing less that 100' from the voting machine, displaying Kerry paraphernalia and asking people's names.
6th and Lombard- 2 young hippies standing less than 100' from voting machine, displaying Kerry paraphernalia and asking people's names.
12th and Webster- 1 aged hippie asking people's names.
I've called the D.A.'s office, Lynn Abraham (D) and was told that none of that constituted voter intimidation.
Sorry PA and America, I've done all I could but I'm a little short handed.

Also, I heard Rush say that several voting machines arrived at the polling places in Philly w/votes already on them. Have you heard anything about that?

Get a handful of disposable cameras (in case they get grabbed and wrecked) and take pictures. In fact, you should take pictures with a camera, quickly walk away, stealtily swap it with an second identical camera with a few random shots on it, and hide the first one. If a thug comes up and demands the camera, hand them the second one and get the first one developed. A hidden tape recorder could be useful, too. I'm sure that Hannity, Rush, etc. would be more than happy to give you publicity if you have proof. It sounds like pictures would be easy. Of course you should try to take the pictures without them noticing. Try just pointing and shooting from afar.
Of course make sure that this doesn't violate local laws. I'm sure the Democrats would amazingly find this "voter intimidation" and throw the book at you.

Also, I heard Rush say that several voting machines arrived at the polling places in Philly w/votes already on them. Have you heard anything about that? There was an article about this on Free Republic from four years ago, written by a woman who worked for Carter in 1976 during the primaries, describing that same problem.

If you do get a good shot on a disposable camera (get 12 exposure cameras), don't use it again because each time you use one, it could get grabbed and destroyed. Use a fresh camera for every polling place.

Good luck to you 2nite. I hope you have a good election lawyer on your team.

You folks don't get it. Calling in all the so called authorities media GOP etc. is like calling 911 when your being robbed or threatened with your life. By the time anything is done it will be to late. Where our the men in PA to stand up to the thugs on the spot and protect the voters who are being intimidated as they walk in?

Philadelphia is gone and has been gone for many years, especially central and South Philadelphia. It is a total waste of time. And unfortunately, so is a Republican seeking office there.
BTW, the REPUBLICAN PARTY in Philadelphia is an arm of the Democratic party. There is no REAL Republican party in Philadelphia.
Regarding Democratic voter fraud and intimidation, DEMOCRAT Lynn Abraham will never, ever lift a finger to do anything about it. Lying Lynne is as dishonest as they come, is one of THEM and always will be.
To: Mo1
For some reason Dom (God love'em) refuses to go after Lynn
Abraham, which is odd because she is a solid crony of Ed Rendell's. He even cut off two callers after they made negative comments about her. Most disappointing.

Lying Lynne is as dishonest as they come, is one of THEM and always will be.Truer words were never spoken. I practiced law when I lived in Philly and it used to sicken me when I had to see her around and on TV.
btw - just came back from voting in Seattle. No lines in my little neighborhood. Some older folks, no intimidation, just a bake sale.
It was really something out of a Norman Rockwell painting - little kids in class, halls decorated for the season, paper ballots, little old lady volunteers, ok, a few diversity posters, but really, it was quite an old fashioned American experience.

I am posting from the library located in the same building as my polling place. Nice little old ladies holding a bake sale, Halloween decorations and falling leaves, pretty much the same as the picture you aptly describe.
Lyin' Lynne makes many of us nauseous.

I was a poll counter, and I was actually shocked to see how many Democrats are out here in the country. They were talking about HUNTING, and they're Dems. Can you believe it?
Then I had to go to Allentown, and teenagers were all over street corners with Kerry signs going crazy. I gave them the THUMBS DOWN.
I'm tense because I'm sensing people have been brainwashed by Farenheit 911.
