believe is Bush loses NH even if he wins florida and Ohio he needs one of the other middle west states?

Actually I don't believe so. NH has four electoral votes. With redistricting following the 2000 census Bush picks up a few electoral votes in the states he won in 2000.

Bush has 7 more EVs than in 2000 with the same states, so I guess he can lose NH which he probably will. But he will pick up NM to make up for it. Either way I think Zogby is going for broke and risking his reputation on a Kerry win. Its one thing to be proven wrong about an electoral outcome. Its another when your own poll shows how wrong you are while you are proven wrong. The solution the is to spin the polls so that both Zogby and his poll are either both right or both wrong!

Zogby had Mondale winning the Senate race by 15 points.

The point is that when Zogby has good news, he's a great pollster. When it's bad, he's a bum. It's become funny to watch the hourly changes in his status.

I also am amused by how quickly pollsters go from heroes to bums on this post. They may not be accurate, but they are trying to get things right.

The interesting thing here is that Bush, I believe, has moved up slightly in both Ohio and Florida in this poll. The trend, if it is real, is good news, even if the figures themselves are not.

Zogby will always have business because he works for Democrats. The Democrats NEVER seriously look at why they are losing. They insist it is the other guys fault. So if Zogby is willing to give them a little good news they will hire him for a blank check amount of money.

These numbers have very little credibility--in fact they almost mirror election 2000 final results.

OH THE MADNESS!!!!!!! I've had enough polls for a lifetime!!!!!!

My answer to your madness is 'duct tape'. Yep, it's the answer for election jitters.

I'll give you a couple of examples...

1.Cut circles from the tape and place them over your eyes....you'll never see the offending polls again.

2. Place small squares of the tape over your 'click' button.... Now you're ready to surf!! You can scroll up and down the page without ever hitting an offending post!... Highly recommended!!!

Zogby has been campaigning for Kerry for months. He said it was Kerry's race to lose. he said 'his people' don't like G.W.B. he suggested G.W. could lose the SOUTH. He even went overseas to say Kerry would win.

Far as I'm concerned, Zogby has discredited himself in the manner the MSM have. He pretends impartiality, then blatantly spins to support his candidate under the banner of "objectivity". Maybe his polls are credible, though I am a sceptic. Maybe they aren't. But his behavior is why I have dismissed him, good or bad poll results produced.

Just as I dismiss anything coming from newsWeek, LATimes, and AP/NYT's/CBS I raise an eyebrow at as well. The first two were caught playing fast with their polling numbers. The remaining three come from sources that have been exposed as spreading fraudulent stories against the President.

This LA Times site is useful for playing out scenarios. Looks like, with FL, OH, and Missouri, Presiden Bush is in good shape.
