My worry is that this will be close. Even though the President will earn victory, the dems/media will spin it as two stolen elections in a row. He will be a lame duck already, and he will not get his agenda through.

Of Course Skerry winning is much worse. I just fear that we are going to have a nasty 4 years of democratic obstructionism.

I'm not panicking, but I'm going to the phone bank in a few minutes. The presidential race shouldn't be an issue here, but we hope to elect our first Republican senator since Reconstruction. My biggest panic is that I'm losing my voice. I rarely talk as much as I have in the past three days, and my voice blanks out as it hasn't done since I passed puberty.

Oh well, it's back to "Hi, my name is Bill, and I'm calling on behalf of President Bush and US Senate candidate David Vitter. Can we count on your support tomorrow?"
