Well tonight's NEW YORK TIMES-CBS Poll numbers spell a big Bush win. The most fascinating nugget in these internals is the disclosure 35% of Americans are conservatives while only 17% call themselves liberals. And just look at Kerry's unfavorables! Across the board, they all spell a Bush W-I-N!

President Bush has a 48% favorable, 41% unfavorable rating. That is his best rating since last December.

You mean the best in the NYT/CBS poll?

Because I think he's had favorables as high as 54% in other polls just recently. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Those numbers sound great. And if this is coming from CBS theyre probably even better.

The only thing that has me disturbed now is the Gallup poll showing Kerry ahead in FL. I hope Polipundit referring to it as "laughable" is accurate. I find it hard to believe too, since Bush was up there by 8 just 6 days ago! But something has to account for that swing.

I guess the Dems can have FL if Gallup is right about Bush picking up PA and WI, and holding on to OH!

Just to add a little more confidence to the mix I think all the polls you heard about today are not accurate. These polls are always based on likely voters. This year we are going to have a lot of unlikely voters. I know this worries people but I tend to think that many of these unlikely voters are people that feel the need to keep Bush in for the security of our nation and our families. I hope and pray I'm right.
