The polls are all suggesting that the President leads by something like 49-47 or 50-48 or something along those lines. That is, unless every registered voter decides to vote, in which case it is a tie. Doesn't look so bad to me. A big lead would be nice, but any win would be better than a loss.

No wonder 60 Minutes is doing a hatched job on Pres. Bush tonight.

Bush will win big enough to leave pollsters and pundits scratching their heads. (and DUer's screaming)

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but all I could think of when I read this was that CBS is deliberately publishing numbers showing strength for Bush in order to boost Kerry turnout.

Polls bounce all summer, but the last weekend before the election is what everyone uses to gauge the accuracy of pollsters. Suddenlt we see Bush leading almost every poll.

Figure after the undecideds decide, you're looking at 51%-48%-1%, and about 320 EVs for Bush. I personally think that the fact that even TODAY, the state polls are all over the map is an incredible sign for Bush. It means the 72-hour campaign is working, and that the Kerry "committed" voter is about as committed as Jo-Lo is to matrimony.

It's highly possible now for Bush to run the table on PA, FL, IA, WI, OH, MN, NM, and even NJ, and two polls from MI show it's a 2-point race today!!

Do YOU trust either SeeBS or the NY Slimes??? Hmmm?  I'd bet they only want US to stop working.  Continuing to CAMPAIGN for VOTES is the order of the day.  Consider copying and emailing things like THIS to everyone and asking them to do the same.

The internals are also very good for the President

Early voters show Bush +8

Approval @ 49%/Disapproval 44%

Favored on Terror: +15

He is "negative" on Iraq (-5), the economy (-8) and foreign policy (-4)

Iraq was right thing to do (+8)

52% say Iraq is part of war on terror

Trust on Terror - Bush +16

Expect Bush to win +16

I want to see their party ID. Should be in teh NYT tonight.

These polls show that the left's hit job on foreign policy, Iraq and the economy has worked. Sad that the public is so darn stupid.

With rain forecast in a number of battleground states on Tuesday, this wouldn't bode well for Kerry. If people already assume he is going to lose will they go to the trouble of voting.

Find comfort in the fact that it must KILL them to have to report this! (Of course, it's a "dead heat")
