After today (10/29)...Now I'm calling it for Bush 350 to 188!

After the revelations of today, 10/29/04, where a US Army Major revealed that his unit had destroyed 250 tons of munitions at the Al QaQua facility, and after the latest Osama bin Laden video...I am revising my election prediction upward for Bush. I honestly believe that many more Americans will vote for Bush after Bin Laden spouted the Kerry/DNC/Michael Moore talking points, and after Kerry's knee jerk reation regarding the munitions have been wholly discredited.

You need to remember that there are lots of people who know nothing who are able to vote.

I hate to say it, too, but I agree with you in worring about this election. I think the Democrats will cause chaos on election day in every Battleground State (and blame it on the Republicans). I think the Bush haters are going to spike the turn out tremendously and there will be a record number of "know nothings" at the polls.

I can only GUARANTEE one thing -- If the Pubs feel over confident and a few decide not to bother with voting, there is no way for Bush to win. Even those who think Bush will win in a landslide better start ACTING like we're behind by one score with 2 minutes left to play, IMHO.

FWIW historically (I believe) the candidate that has won Nevada wins the election. Nevada has moved to Bush this week from toss-up a week ago. However, I am concerned because there has been a huge influx of Kalifornians in the last 4 years.

This indicator like all is subject to the exception that proves the rule.

the problem is: people like us, the news junkies, pay attention to these events. The vast majority of the people do not and if the news media doesn't report on it or superficially reports on it the word does not get out. therefore i don't think this will have any effect whatsoever because the media is in kerry's back pocket.

I think you're right --- the idea that Bin Laden would appear right before the election and try to get Americans to vote for Kerry is going to push voters to vote for Bush. Bin Laden killed all those Americans in New York on 9-11 --- when we weren't at war with Iraq --- so why does he want Kerry to win?
