After the revelations of today, 10/29/04, where a US Army Major revealed that his unit had destroyed 250 tons of munitions at the Al QaQua facility, and after the latest Osama bin Laden video...I am revising my election prediction upward for Bush. I honestly believe that many more Americans will vote for Bush after Bin Laden spouted the Kerry/DNC/Michael Moore talking points, and after Kerry's knee jerk reation regarding the munitions have been wholly discredited.
Very good and valid points. But ultimately...we will get him.
I am worried too. I see Bush losing with 266 or winning with 276.
From the 2000 states we lose N. Hamp. and Ohio.
From the Gore states we pick up, Ia, N. Mex. leaving us 4 short of a win.
Wisconsin then decides the election.
i didnt hear the latest on that. i know curt(weldon) is one
HOT pennsylvanian. he might NEVER calm down.

Lawgirl and Bommer did this..I love it.
WOW.......thanks for sharing that.....AWESOME !!!!!!!
I use any excuse to link it!
FYI
Maine's second district (1 of 4 electoral votes) is in play. Remember, Maine in NOT winner take all.
Well, your map does warm the heart! But the polls and my gut tell me that this is going to be a lot tighter. I'd bet money that Kerry carries almost all the Gore states, with Bush/Cheney picking up something maybe in the Midwest (IA or WI).
When are we going to get YOU to run for Congress!?
Do you believe now Neo? Take the red pill.
bttt
His spin, over and over and over for the next 36 hours, will be that "We still have the Bin Laden Threat because BUSH let him go at Tora Bora. Can't you see America that is the reason you have to keep enduring these threats and color warning raisings? I'LL be the one to get him and we can return to peace as we knew it before Bush's 9-11 war."
Just watch. This is what those doofuses will come up with. Joe Lockhart. And the Skinhead man.
Couldn't agree more. I'm in New England, and the folks in these parts are Communists, plain and simple. Red for Democrat states is appropriate, and that color scheme should be used from here on out.
Bad wheather in the mid-west Tuesday would be sweet.
THIS WILL ONLY HAPPEN IF WE MAKE IT HAPPEN ...
Call your local GOP office, and ask to help (1) be a poll watcher (2) make GOTV calls (3) gets signs to polls (4) help get others to polls (rides, etc.) (5) get your family to the polls and voting straight party ticket GOP.
message from RNC Chairman ...
4 Days and Counting! That's all the time we have left to elect President Bush and Republican candidates. But it's more than enough time for you to help lead our Party to sweeping victories on Election Day.
You can still do two things today to help make a difference:
* Last minute door-to-door canvassing and phone calls to ensure high GOP voter turnout on Election Day.
* Remind your family, friends and neighbors to vote on Tuesday, November 2nd for President Bush and Republicans up and down the ticket!
With so much riding on the outcome of the election and our country still closely divided politically, getting our voters to the polls is the key to Republican success. We must keep President Bush's positive vision for a better, safer future for America moving forward.
Please give one last donation to help elect President Bush and GOP majorities at all levels. The President and all our Republican candidates are counting on our Party's top supporters -- Sustaining Members like you -- one more time this critical election year. Please help as generously as you can. You ARE the Republican Party. Thank you.
Best Wishes,
Ed Gillespie
RNC Chairman
Well Jeff, I hope you are more right about this than I am, but I think it is damn close and basically comes down to Ohio in this sense: If Bush wins Ohio, I think his chances of winning the election are >90%--a virtual lock.
On the other hand, if Bush loses Ohio, then I put his chances at <40% with the most likely out come to be Kerry 270 electors and Bush 268 electors. (This would have WI and NH going to Kerry and MN & NM going to Bush).
I don't think this race should be this close or even close at all, but I believe it is.
Jeff, you're pretty spot on.
I'm confident Bush is grabbing 27 votes from the WI/MN/IA bovine belt.
