Bush 50% Kerry 47%
(Excerpt) Read more at washingtonpost.com ...
you need to factor in the people who sat out the 2000 election
that will vote this time. i.e. evangelicals
This is more rhetoric. A Kerry aide on CNN was quoting this saying Florida was going to go to Kerry in a landslide.
Don't forget the church people who will vote this time.
The last remaining good Kerry day rolls off, and now there are three known good Bush days and whatever happened last night. I don't think the OBL endorsement of Kerry is going to help him much, either.
LOL...beat you by 11 seconds...same thought, same time..cool
"The blog analysis considered the only really realiable polls with explainable methodologies were Battleground, Gallup, and Time."
Battleground has Bush up by 5.
We have Rass showing no change. We have this result. The explosives story had no effect.
There are only 2% of the electorate left who are "moveable".
People, seriously, if you're sitting there reading this . . . VOTING IS NOT ENOUGH. You MUST volunteer this weekend. If you know a Bush voter who is not focused on voting, take them to the polls. If you can travel and live near a battleground, call that state's GOP HQ now and volunteer to drive there this weekend.
I'm flying to Nevada to volunteer tomorrow and part of Sunday. It's too important to just content yourself with voting. That's not enough.
I wish it were true. I know many Bush '00 voters who have switched to Kerry...far more than have switched the other way.
The key factor will be GOTV... much more than switches.
Of course he is! It's easier to cheat when you don't have any wascawee weepubwicans looking over your shoulder, like they will be on election day.
Gallup has Bush up by 5 too. Imagine that.
Even Fox had Bush up 5 today. All this even after the media's onslaught!
>>Will Osama bin Moore?<<
ROTFLMAO!!!!!
In the last week of the 1988 campaign, there was a "surge" for Dukakis in the polls, he suddenly started drawing huge crowds, and the MSM started wondering out loud if he might be about to pull the upset. Didn't happen. Dukakis never made the sale, and neither has Kerry.
Kerry has made an epic blunder in this campaign, which will be written about for decades. In this last week, when he knew people were taking their last look at him, he went back on the attack. He gave wavering voters no reason to vote FOR him, or even to vote for change. Instead he spent the entire week yelling about something that happaned in Iraq 18 months ago, which he would be powerless to change if he were elected. He is talking about missing explosives in Iraq when he should be talking about missing jobs in Ohio and Michigan. He and his 527s are still running savagely negative ads which people are tired of. He has just taken a very winnable race and lost it.
IMO this guy Jay is one of the smartest bloggers on polls

Maybe in your worlds... You IDIOTS!!
And yet MORE DUmmies
"I wish it were true. I know many Bush '00 voters who have switched to Kerry...far more than have switched the other way."
. . . anecdotal information NOT supported by the polls!
[I must say, that I've actually experienced the exact opposite -- MANY of my leftist colleagues (I'm a university professor) have told me SECRETLY that they plan to vote for President Bush this election!]
I suspect that if WP/ABC hadn't gone to a 4 day rolling average, then the Bush lead would probably be about 4 or 5 points today in their poll...
We heard about a week ago, they Kerry would pull close mid-week, and then a break toward Bush. Looks like what is happening.
Beyond the polls, look at BOTH campaigns. Where are they? What states are they in? What is their message? How are they acting? Every sign points to a significant Bush win.
Crap, I hope the 50,000 Muslims who voted for Bush last time in Florida (because a Jew was on the Democrat ballot) still retain their Republican loyalty.
BUSH BABY
with a campaign staff full of clintonistas......coincidence ???
