HOLY @#%^@#$&!!!! Joe Lockhart was trying to spin the myth that W let UBL escape from Tora Bora and citing retired AF (I think) General McPeak's statements that are negative about the war. Gibson pointed out that Gen. Franks himself has said that Kerry has his facts wrong about the situation in 2001 at Tora Bora.
John Gibson: "Mr. Lockhart, you aren't questioning Gen. Frank's credibility are you?"
Lockhart: "What I'm not doing is questioning Gen. McPeake's credibility...Gen. Franks has had two years to get his story straight about Tora Bora and he's out there doing the President a political favor."

I think the Secret Service men are going to be very busy
staying alert for assassins! We've got too many mentally
disturbed people out there (on both sides) listening to all these seeds of hate; the situation is really dangerous.
I heard this too- unfortunately so did my son...he is so furious right now he's not listening to anymore news til after the election. He knows something Lockhart apparently doesn't know- war is dynamic- NOT a static event.
I think John was SO stunned by Lockhart that he actually lost his composure - he seemed unable to stay on point.
John Kerry STOP DENIGRATING OUR TROOPS FOR YOUR OWN POLITICAL GAIN! JOHN KERRY IS TOAST! Joe Lockhart looked so angry, maybe hell go home and eat twenty more pizzas and just blow up!
I agree, Gibson was astounded at the vicious attack.
he even looks wussy, to be a military man...ewwwwwwwwww
He is completely and utterly evil. E-V-I-L. Look at his eyes - completely devoid of a soul.
No he was not involved in the WOT.
He's the retired USAF General that was in the RAT ad that says "Four Years ago I voted for George W. Bush..." and then goes on to rip the President for Iraq and makes the claim he's now voting for sKerry.
Lockjaw's just been hoist with his own petard. Sweet :)
Kerry & Kompany are playing with fire here, and I hope and pray they get consumed by the fireball that should be coming.
General Franks is one of the last people I'd want to get on the bad side of.
I noticed that Ken Mehlman was smiling at the end of the exchange and Lockhart had a scowling 'deer in the headlights' look.
Body language says a lot.....Mehlman obviously felt that Lochart had dug himself into a hole!
Actually, it sounds like Gibson just knew what he was doing in allowing Lockjaw to run off at the mouth :)
Yeh--don't ever argue with a fool.
I havent heard him today, but I read on here he was going to come out and talk about the missing explosives... I hope hes on tonight a lot of shows!!
Between this, and Rendell (PA Gov) refusing on live air (Hannity), to accept military ballots that were postmarked before Tuesday Nov 2nd, We have PLENTY of ammunition for this weekend.
Here's a little back ground on General McPeak:

As a fighter pilot, I saw my share of combat.
As chief of staff, I led the Air Force during the first Gulf War.
And four years ago, I endorsed George Bush for President.
But this year, I¹m voting for John Kerry.
Nothing is more important to me than protecting America. John Kerry has the strength and common sense we need in a commander in chief. And something more - a real strategy to make America safer.
