HOLY @#%^@#$&!!!! Joe Lockhart was trying to spin the myth that W let UBL escape from Tora Bora and citing retired AF (I think) General McPeak's statements that are negative about the war. Gibson pointed out that Gen. Franks himself has said that Kerry has his facts wrong about the situation in 2001 at Tora Bora.
John Gibson: "Mr. Lockhart, you aren't questioning Gen. Frank's credibility are you?"
Lockhart: "What I'm not doing is questioning Gen. McPeake's credibility...Gen. Franks has had two years to get his story straight about Tora Bora and he's out there doing the President a political favor."

When the votes are in and Bush has won, I believe the Secret Service needs to be at they're most vigilant.
Was it as bad as the rage and disgust I felt this morning seeing our local loony lefties hanging a Kerry banner next to a POW/MIA flag?
These people know no shame, lie as easily as breathing and I can't wait for Tuesday so I can repudiate them in the best way possible.
Thanks for the ping!
In the beginning was The Lie, and The Lie was with The Left, and The Lie was The Left.
And The Sheep heard The Lie, and saw that it was good, and rejoiced in The Lie, crying, "Behold those of The Left, who speak with strength and passion! They must surely be convinced of their righteousness!"
And The Sheep beheld The Right, and saw that they were silent, and shouted not, nor did they raise their voice to defend themselves. And The Sheep marveled, saying, "Behold The Right, who cannot defend their ignorant views! They must surely be wrong!"
And The Sheep believed every word from The Left, which was The Lie, for that is the way of The Sheep.
I've been harping about the same thing. Kerry would destroy morale in the AD military, and people would beat a path for the door out of the service faster than they did in the Carter days. Then, you might REALLY have a draft instituted so Kerry could keep the UN forces fully manned.
These young folks should think about that before they vote for Kerry?
You got that right! Franks earned every star on his shoulder serving his country - in good times and bad. Lockhart is a poser, a pathetic shill for the DemoRat slime machine.
I'd really like to see Gen. Franks look up Mr. Lockhart and kick his butt until his nose bleeds!
LOLOLOL! Thanks for the chuckle.
JOE LOCKHART JUST CALLED TOMMY FRANKS A LIAR ABOUT TORA BORA!!!
I pay cash money to see the look on Lockharts face if Tommy Franks walked in the room.
From what little I've read there wasn't a lot of tears when he retired..

I understand that there are a goodly number of people waiting to see the outcome of the election before they decide weather or not to reup.
Is this story the sex scandal from the Drudge siren yesterday? Oooops wrong story.
Thanks for the ping.
I've heard the same thing. I have several AD military living in my neighborhood and none of them are going to stick around very long if Kerry is elected. The Bush yard signs abound around their houses!
McPeak was not there...The General was...hmmm..Lockhard wasn't there...kerry wasn't there...
Yes, but they've been falling apart sllloowwwwly, very sllloooowly, for years now. The Kerry campaign is their Last Stand. They ARE freaking out now day by day, getting
more desperate, grabbing at the proverbial straws, and having each one poke them in the eye, but to see them REALLY fall apart wait till Nov. 2,3,4 and whatever additional days they're going to inflict on us. You will see them in FULL NERVOUS BREAKDOWN mode, and it ain't gonna be pretty. I predict that, once they start challenging results FOR REAL, they will fully freak out as it dawns on them that even some who voted (D) are seeing their mistake for the first time, and hadn't counted on the cataclysm that some others hoped to create. Unfortunately the Republicans haven't fully prepared us for this, but maybe no one could. What they've done is try to match the Dems lawyer for lawyer, but I think most of the real mess will be ,uh, let's call it "extra-legal". Dems will not be fully
"martryed" until they alienate a significant part of their base. I think we will see rioting, arson, and all kinds of sundry civil disobedience. That will spell the end of the Democrat Party. Even the MSM will be taken aback, and be afraid to take their side. For once, Jennings,Brokaw, and Rather may be forced into doing "objective" news.
