BREAKING! JOE LOCKHART JUST CALLED TOMMY FRANKS A LIAR ABOUT TORA BORA!!!
The Big Story w/ John Gibson ^ | 28 Oct. 2004 | TxRadioguy

Posted on 10/28/2004 2:32:19 PM PDT by txradioguy

HOLY @#%^@#$&!!!! Joe Lockhart was trying to spin the myth that W let UBL escape from Tora Bora and citing retired AF (I think) General McPeak's statements that are negative about the war. Gibson pointed out that Gen. Franks himself has said that Kerry has his facts wrong about the situation in 2001 at Tora Bora.

John Gibson: "Mr. Lockhart, you aren't questioning Gen. Frank's credibility are you?"

Lockhart: "What I'm not doing is questioning Gen. McPeake's credibility...Gen. Franks has had two years to get his story straight about Tora Bora and he's out there doing the President a political favor."

>>>I thought at the time that Lockhart replaced Dee Dee, that he was an inferior second choice,<<<

Inferior in soooo many ways. Legs is one - Dee Dee has the best looking set of legs that have appeared on television, bar none.

sKerry said "Bring it on!"

So we did. First he wilted under the pressure, then he fought back like a girlie-man with his lawyers and stooges.

General McPeak will go down in history as the WORST AF Chief of Staff to be remembered for his wife wanting to change Air Force uniforms to look like airline pilots.

I had seen a report that Gen. Franks was going to join the campaign, so I think it might have meant like tomorrow or this weekend or something. Of course, that was before Joe Lockhart opened his big mouth, so I have no doubt that Franks will be chomping at the bit, now!

I remember when the other general got fired. McPeak was horrible and I just posted I thought he was the worst AF Chief of Staff ever.

My step-father actually met McPeak and he doesn't have anything good to say about him. Called him incompetent(that word again-but it applies to that group).

Found this revealing bit of info on ''general'' mcpeak:

On Page 117, figure 6.4, why is CMSAF Pfingston not wearing US insignia on his service dress jacket?

A: Although this may look like an error, the picture is, in fact, accurate. We too wondered whether the picture was accurate, so we personally contacted Chief Pfingston during the development of the 1999 PFE Study Guides and asked. He stated that when the USAF developed the guidelines for the wear of the uniform with applicable accoutrements, he and General McPeak, along with the Uniform Board, decided to eliminate the wear of the US lapel insignia on the new service dress coat. He wanted his picture to depict him in the uniform combination that was in effect during the remainder of his tenure as CMSAF. Specifically, he said he wanted everyone to know that he was the first CMSAF to wear the uniform without the US insignia. Subsequently, Gen Fogleman decided the US insignia should be part of the uniform and had it reinstated. Therefore, Air Force uniforms were actually without the insignia for about a year and a half. Most folks don’t know then because it applied only to the new service dress coat, and in the early 90’s, not too many people owned one.

Most folks don't understand that the majority of folks in a combat operation are the support folks, aka, butchers, bakers and candlestick makers of Shakespearean lore. What Rumsfeld insisted on, and Gen. Franks ultimately understood is that those support folks in this operation were, by and large targets...which translates into potential casualties...which in modern day communication translates into modern day nightly news. We have to date only had just over a thousand casualties....each a tragedy for sure....but to put it into perspective...very few Vietnam Veterans ever spent a month in country where there was less than a thousand brave Americans met their maker.. Lumpy Lockhart, like the traitor he is being a mouthpiece for is, frankly, a full of bovine secretions of the highest order.

I heard and saw the whole thing...Joe's face was puffed up (natural condition?) and red as he demanded NOT to be interupted. Desperation personified imo.

That's does not mean that the DOJ has abandoned the Berger case. It has not. It's just below the radar now because of the election. It takes time to build a case. We need to stop requiring instant justice; it's not realistic.

Remember .. it took over 2 years to build a case against Ken Lay of Enron.

First, consider the source. JOE LOCKHART, who is to clean honest campaigning what Michael Jackson is to responsible day care.

Second, it only underscores the tragedy that Lockhart's mother did NOT have the RU486 morning after pill available to her. BUT hey: you go to bed with a big Daddy Mullet, and junior's eyeballs are bound to bug out like that.

In a perfect world, we will one day see Lockhart face to chest with General Tommy Franks, and the General will say 'now would you care to repeat what you said back on October 28th?', as Lockhart proceeds to swallow his tongue and expel it from his sphincter.

I would pay good money to watch that show.

There is a new thread with Tommy Franks speech today for President Bush, no mention of Lockharts statement but it is a good speech - they may have to go back and add a few lines for the next speech.

I've noticed he never blinks. He just looks like a lunatic with those wild eyes everytime he appears on TV. He is not an effective spkesperson to say the least.

The see the writing on the walls..

I think they do and have for about 2 weeks now. All of the tempers are quick and faces are long.

They are beside themselves. All the dirt they have pulled, all the water the MSM has carried for them, Fahrencrap 911, all the celebs (cough, cough) pleading to the public, etc............and still they can't make lemonade out of this rotted lemon they call Kerry.

From what I've witnessed with Lockhart, McAuliffe, Tad-I-need-new-hair Devine, et al, I think someone better set up a suicide watch for some prominent Dems.

I don't know which is worse...the permanent sneer on Tad Devine's mug....the dismissive snobbish drawl of Chad Clanton or the Algore-ish wild eyed look of Lockhart.

Any of them would make good masks for Halloween cause they are all so darn scary!
