BOMB-GATE [Cliff May]
Sent to me by a source in the government:
The Iraqi explosives story is a fraud. These weapons were not there when US troops went to this site in 2003. The IAEA and its head, the anti-American Mohammed El Baradei, leaked a false letter on this issue to the media to embarrass the Bush administration. The US is trying to deny El Baradei a second term and we have been on his case for missing the Libyan nuclear weapons program and for weakness on the Iranian nuclear weapons program.
(For the record, I dont reveal my sources so if that means I end up sharing a cell at Sing-sing with Judy Miller, so be it.) Posted at 10:00 AM
That may just be true. One thing the MSM, working
evidently as Kerry's water carriers, sure aren't going
to correct this, so the lie just gets repeated and
repeated by the Democrats until it finally is thought of
as truth.
It isn't the facts that matter....it's the seriousness of the charge. By Kerry repeating it ad nauseum, the press can keep talking for days about "questions regarding the Bush administration's lax security and poor planning for the post-invasion phase."
Just like you still hear "questions about the President's National Guard service" echoing on and on and on, despite plenty of evidence that the President's TANG service demonstrated seriousness and courage (for those not too lazy to investigate from that angle).
Wow, the UN involved in deception and corruption????
What a shock!!
I disagree....Cliff May knows the stakes if he is caught posting a false story.....he has it nailed down.
To all MSM commies:
You are the enemy within. How do you sleep at nite?
more than "unfit to print" ... they are purposely printing exactly what they want you to read, regardless of its accuracy, so long as it hurts President Bush .. their singular agenda, and shameful.
As for El Baradei he is UN, do we expect anything good from them? Why hasn't the Administration made a big deal out of this, I mean BIG
I don't think it is because of slow intelligence. He wants to inflict as much damage as possible before having to retract any statements.
Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey, good bye (NYT).
"....Cliff May knows the stakes if he is caught posting a false story.....he has it nailed down."
Absolutely!
If we stop, look and listen for a moment- this is reminiscent of the moments preceding the cBS/Rathergate debacle. Lots of scurrying behind the scenes to check, double-check to be SURE. This is the in-between stage where the pajamahadeen, NRO, Drudge, Rush etc. are all researching like crazy.
I've done my research. My son is an infantryman in the 101st AB.
ON FOX RIGHT NOW!
The whole story has been a non issue to me from the start, and I'm not convinced the American people have been in hysteria over it either.
But, as with Rather/CBS, the story behind the story is where interest resides.
A "false letter" is the basis for the entire story. The MSM runs with it. Shopped to 60 minutes which still hasn't recovered from Rather, then shipped to the MYT's of Jayson Blair fame. Tsk.
Now this could have legs. Maybe not of rather level given MSM may figure they can ride it out a week without mention due to the election, but certainly fodder for alternative media.
Attention Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Tony Snow, et al!

Probably with one eye open now....
BTTT
Dang.
Tomorrow the NYT will be running more Abu Ghraib....ye ole shellgame ... to get the pressure off them and back on GWB.
The report is regarding 1.5% of the total explosives that were there. Even if this story is true, it's OVERBLOWN.
