Wish the Spanish hadn't gone wobbly on us, but I guess the population was always against the Iraq war, so it shouldn't surprise me.

That first one from the wire service is amazing. Explosions go from ignition to fireball in a split second - sometimes shorter than can even be captured on 30 frame/sec video. But it looks like the security camera caught one frame that was the exact moment of ignition. Pray for all of those lost, and pray for this nation - so that we will not make a decision in two weeks that makes these events more likely.

I think Spain essentially surrendered by voting out José María Aznar, thereby giving Al Qaeda the victory they were seeking. It was complete and total capitulation.

Not much. The republicans in the Senate are still weak kneed and haven't done a lot in my humble opinion. Our boarders remain wide open. Illegals continue to pour in. That means the bad guys are pouring in. They ain't exactly stupid. You see open door, you walk in. That is fairly easy.

There is some speculation about why this video wasn't released until now - there has been a lot of activity this week in Madrid re: terror... apparently they ID'd the ringleader (dead), and also prevented an attack on Madrid's high court.. this may be evidence to justify any action? (action of what, I don't know.)
