You don't think so? Wouldn't you help find water sources, oil sources, something?
Yes, both of those, but also WMD... During the first three weeks of the war I tried to volunteer to go over and help look. I work in the Environmental field... doing subsurface soil and groundwater investigations. We specifically LOOK for buried chemicals, etc. I know how to use Ground Penetrating Radar, chemical sniffer equipment, etc., and I know how to investigate areas that just "don't look right." Remember the story from yesterday where the ING had our guys keep looking after they had found several caches of buried weapons because it "didn't look right" to the Iraqis? That's the kind of thing I specialize in.
I still believe there is alot of ground over there to cover in looking for buried stuff... and I wish I could be there doing just that.
