Driving home from work tonight, I heard a spot on WLS in Chicago for the Terry O'Brien Sunday talk show. It seems her lead topic will be the less than honorable discharge many suspect Kerry received from the Navy. This is the first mention, to my knowledge, on the public airwaves regarding this subject. With persistent FREEPing, perhaps other media outlets will pick up the story.

No way. That won't work. They would just trash Bush for raising questions when he was in the national guard. The only hope is if some conservative journalist or the clowns at the RNC find irrefutable proof. And it has to be irrefutable.
Or Ted Koppel, with a government observer, will go back to a village in Vietnam where Kerry is a national hero for helping defeat us in the war, and ask former Viet Cong, whom Kerry helped, if Kerry was given a honorable discharge while the communist government observer is watching and taking names.

Bush also needs a press conference to dispel Kerry's rumor about the draft.

Thanks for the elucidation re Clinton and the blue dress. I had thought it referred to an unfortunate side effect from "the gift that keeps on giving" that he had and didn't release his medical records to hide.

From the CNN article:
"It is almost surreal to learn the extent to which I was followed by the FBI," Kerry said in a written statement earlier this week. "The experience of having been spied on for the act of engaging in peaceful patriotic protest makes you respect civil rights and the Constitution even more."
Boy, he's smug.... and smarmy. If he ever took office, I bet one of the first things he'd do is un-do the Patriot Act.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. No kind of proof of anything has to be put forward by Bush or anyone else. The press cannot trash Bush about his military record anymore than they already have since they've given it the equivalent of a rectal exam. Think about it. All Bush will be pointing out is why the MSM hasn't even ASKED why Kerry hasn't signed his release form, nothing else!

I agree completely.....especially since a senator from my state was one of the sponsors of the anti-free speech campaign finance reform bill, President Bush should never have signed the bill. I apologize for not being able to identify the source, but while speaking with my son recently, he discussed an insider's report stating that while the cfr bill was being drafted, dems were working concurrently on methods to employ to circumvent it.
I do disagree, however, that cfr was a failure....with the media in their back pocket it was a winner for the dems.

Movie...what's that? LOL!!
Actually I have managed to see the Lord of the Rings trilogy in the theaters. I used my dad's birthday as an excuse each year and hubby and I got a babysitter and took him to the movie. So the answer for me is "Return of the King."
