After reading this, I couldn't help but post it as a lead story on my noDNC.com web site.

It is a powerful and moving story that must be told. And it must be spread far and wide.

It has top billing on the front page of the new

Anti-DNC web portal

Bump!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so tired of hearing how he (President Bush) doesn't care about those fighting this war. These stories need to be sent to everyone everywhere.

He cares about all of us - even about the ones who don't care for him.

After about 20 minutes of conversation, Ben's dad said, "We want to tell you, Mr. President, that my wife and I pray for you every day." Then President Bush said, "Let's pray right now." They gathered hands around the table. Ben's dad opened the prayer and the President closed.

Bump.

Thank you for such a great post! It is a shame that nearly half of Americans can not see what a wonderful President we have and how blessed we are to have him. We must continue to pray for him and for America!

What a beautiful story, brought tears to my eyes too. How dare John Kerry et al pretend this man doesn't care about our troops!

This is not the first timm President Bush has pulled aside the parents of soldiers who have been killed in the WOT. 3 local families here in Ohio, had the same experience and hold President Bush in the highest regard as it was a very personal moment for them, no cameras, no reporter, just them and the First Family

This President makes more time for wounded veterans and family memembers then you and I will ever know... There is a simple reason for that, he does not require a camera crew to personally thank these men and women.

"We want to tell you, Mr. President, that my wife and I pray for you every day"

During the President's speech the following night at the convention, he mentioned a soldier's family making this comment to him. He teared up and said, "Where do you find people of such strength"?. He was truly moved by this family's affection and prayers for him.

President Bush does this sort of thing all the time. He called my friend's cousin, who is suffering from a recurrence of breast cancer. Her husband is a firefighter who got to meet the president at a campaign rally. When he told the president about his wife's illness, Bush called her from his cell phone right then, and told her he was praying for her. Made her day.

He's a good man.

Thank you for this wonderful post. Everytime I become discouraged about poll numbers, I know deep in my heart that God will let good triumph over evil and President Bush will be re-elected.

Truly honorable and great deeds are those that are not done for recognition. What a great man.

You can't make these things up. This is a man of conviction, and a man OF the people, and he has told the world, "I don't want you to love MY country, I want you to RESPECT my country"! There is a hellofa difference, and the President understands that.

Had ALgore won the last election we would have had weekly attacks on this great nation. The President does NOT seek love, he seeks RESPECT, and he will have that. This is what a large majority of these here American People believe, and we stand by. You come and hurt my brother and I will hunt you down and kill you like a dog, period! That's too good for most of these assH**es. These vile conspirators from within our borders (RATS) give aid an comfort to the enemy. They are just as bad as our enemy.

The end of this election will be the start of the end of both of these enemies. This great nation will rise again, just like we always have. Sometimes, in peace and prosperity we sleep (we need the rest), but when we are angered and attacked, we get angry, and when the righteous are angered a blow from the God, almighty follows. The aftermath of this election will calm both this great country, and the world. The American People will have spoken, and the rest is ours to win.
