I'm calling it for Bush today, 10/15/2004.
Bush 320 Electoral Votes, Kerry 218 Electoral Votes.
I'll be glad for the 270 any way we can get them...but I have a feeling, if we work hard, retain our composure and have faith, that he is going to end up with quite a few more.
Precisely! Personally, I think Rove believes that they will win the election. Could Bush be working the popular vote now to firm up a mandate?
Are there not two Republican Senators in PA? What exactly are they doing to help the President? Especially, Arlen "Magic Bullet Theory" Spector. The President backed this man and I have seen him not even lift a finger. He is the worst kind of RINO.
He needs to walk away with a mandate...and then fulfill it to the letter, irrespective of what the DNC and the opposition thinks are how they try to stop it.
I think that you're wrong on New Mexico, and likely Washington.
Actually, a number of the rallies have been in the 40,000-60,000 range. The MSM has blatantly overlooked this fact.
They were making a big deal about Kerry getting 10,000-20,000 (many bussed in) to his rally in Las Vegas after the third debate. Next morning, President Bush drew 44,000! I never saw this reported on the MSM at all.
I may update the map as time goes on and we get closer...but this is my 10/15 prediction.
In this threatening day and age of terrorism and what could happen if Kerry wins, your projection map kinda brings a different meaning to the old phrase, "It's better to be red than dead."
...and they will not. The MSM is unabashedly complicit with the DNC and have morphed wholly into an American Pravda.
There must have been some serious rough patches in his personal history that caused him to back away from the nomination. The Republican Party would have not only given him the nod, they would have torn down the goal posts and carried him on their shoulders the length of the state from the Chicago Loop to Cairo.
Plus, Ditka would have been a delight in the US Senate. Imagine a Senator who knows who he is, and speaks the plain truth as he sees it. It would have meant the end of government as we know it. And that would have been a terrific result.

Well...I decided that Red was the best color for Kerry, given AnnaZ's impassioned statement/plea on this thread and given the historical precedent of Kerry's voting record and actions.
scratch previous transmission. I got confoosed like a dimocRAT. Which are we blue or red? I thought Bush was originally red states?
From your mouth to God's ear.
"Actually, a number of the rallies have been in the 40,000-60,000 range. The MSM has blatantly overlooked this fact."
All the Bush supporters are at the rallies, thus not able to answer the phone for polling data.
Amen CBB...Kerry is deserving of the worst thrashing in our nation's history as far as I am concerned. I will take anything equal to or greater than 270...but believe Bush is going to get quite a bit more.
The MSM has Bush=Red and Kerry=Blue...but Kerry is Red alright and this thread and map reflect that. Thanks to AnnaZ's comments and suggestions to the same.
Yes, there had better not be a need for a court to settle this one. Thankfully, we have in Kerry the Alpha Doofus, with a tainted background including both anti-American activities and a complete non-career as a politician. Amazing he still has some states that might go his way.
Thanks my friend...if we all work real hard, remain optimistic and unrattled...and if we have enough faith...it will be so.
