Surge of Urban Registrations Could Lift Kerry in Ohio BY JULIE CARR SMYTH And DIANE SOLOV c.2004 Newhouse News Service
CLEVELAND -- Signs of a heavy surge of new urban voters in Ohio could add up to immense influence for Democratic-leaning central cities in this key swing state.
At last count, more than half of the new voters registered in Ohio -- 475,000 out of 830,000 -- hail from eight urban counties: Cuyahoga (Cleveland), Franklin (Columbus), Hamilton (Cincinnati), Montgomery (Dayton), Summit (Akron), Lucas (Toledo), Lorain (Lorain/Elyria) and Stark (Canton/Massillon). They make up nearly 6 percent of the entire 7.8 million-plus statewide electorate, at a time when the latest polls show President Bush and Sen. John Kerry running neck and neck in the state.
Cleveland wants a contested election in Ohio so that the news media will arrive in their city enmasse and fill the hotels and restaurants and boost the economy there.
Dear Lord,
If you could see fit to register your vote on November election by using your devine intervention on behalf of our President, George W. Bush and send down rainstorm of the century into our largest cities throughout the nation we, your humble servants, would be eternally greatful.
Yours in faith,
thingumbob
I registerd back in August (new to area) haven't heard anything yet!!!

Dan Blather reporting: This just in.......
Confidential news sources in Cleveland have today confirmed and reported that Ohio has just declared John F. Kerry the winner of that state's 2004 presidential election.....huh?....this is wha?.....uhhh....stay tuned for more news regarding final poll results.
That dem handbook Drudge has exposed on his site instructing activists to shout voter disenfranchisement even if none exists will help to mute the effect of this dem strategy.
Great idea but wrong approach (IMHO). Put the thumb print,in indelible ink, on the voter registration card of each person that signs up to vote. That will stop more than a few "questionable" potential voters. LOL! Though I wonder what excuse the protesters will use.
(sigh) And then what? Here in Dayton at least the MRM wouldn't give you the time of day.
Oops! I mean, "...the MSM wouldn't give you the time of day."
I agree.....but we have many other outlets besides the MSM.
We can make the news if we collect the evidence. Digital pix are easy to make public.
Lets not give up without a fight.....just yet.
It should be posted at every polling place along with all the other mandated posters in spanish and English.
Our entire voting process is at stake. There should be not excuse of "I didn't know."
What do you think the outcome will be if chaos ensues and recounts go awry? With 20,000 lawyers working for the Dems, international observers and all this rampant cheating, could they actually have to hold the election again under different circumstances to find a winner? Or will this end up going to the Supreme Court again as a constitutional crisis? I am worried that even if al Qaeda doesn't screw up the election, the Dems will.
It's always looming. The trick is to catch 'em at it.
...and a note from your compiler of links- near the "last" are links about Project Vote, PIGRIM, and other far-Left pressure groups who hide under the "activist" label while subverting representative government.
These nasty characters demean and dilute the value of everyone's vote.
The plan, besides their hope of throwing the election to sKerry, is to so thoroughly corrupt the election results that Mr. Bush will either not be taken seriously, or open to impeachment.
You had better take this stuff seriously- it is a dagger aimed at the heart of the Republic.
A co-worker of mine said that people were going door-to-door in Beavercreek, Ohio identifying themselves as members of the Miami Valley Republican organization and offering to help the voters by getting them to fill out an absentee ballot which they would take to the Greene County Board of Elections for them. My co-worker called the police who said they had gotten multiple reports of this going on.
