As do I, and I think everyone else here. But since there is talk and signs pointing towards the possibility, wouldn't it be better to pray that it doesn't happen and prepare for the worst, than to do nothing but pray?
God bless him!
Tell him thanks for his service from me!
I've adopted about 8 soldiers, and I can't tell them how much I appreciate them!!
I do what I can but I'm not as mobile as others here. no vehicle and I have physicalu problems as well as financial problems. so the only thing I can do right now is to pray.
Did yu see Terry McAwful complain about the tone in Washington last night, then get asked point blank by Hannity about changing the tone starting with McAwful himself?
And McAwful's response of "I don't care about the tone" right afterwards?
I hear you about 'what happened to the Dem party.'
Used to be you could have respect for the opposition.
bump
I feel really sad as I view rthis like the death of a loved relative.
I know how Sen. Zell Miller feels.
The Democrat party left me not the other way around.
The Dem party didn't leave.. it was hijacked and driven onto the reef by fanatical pirates.
I used to be an Envirowacky.
Until I thought things over and took on some rather, er, heretical views about environmentalism.
I remember you saying you used ot be Dem.
The conservative Dems from way back left in protest in a couple waves over the years.
Starting in the 80's while I was a wee young'un.

He sure did! And John did, and you did! Nothing could be finah than the Finest on Thursday. :)
Great essay and photos! Thanks, you two!
Guffy and phancypants, let us know if you'd like us to add your names to our ping lists. Any friend of Pip's..........:)
That photo is WONDERFUL!! Tanks, mrstank, for sharing it with us! What a group of winners that is.
Oh, another one! What great smiles on both your faces, when I know you must have had a hard time saying bye then! We appreciate your husband going to battle for us, and our prayers are with him. Thank you, tank and mrstank.
Thanks to you for your patience in teaching me how to post pictures! :) It finally paid off!
If you look closely you can see the tears gleaming in the corners of my eyes! That was a very emotional day, but as much as I miss him, I am full of pride for what our armed forces are doing over there, and that more than makes up for the temporary emptiness.
Of course, along with that goes the urge to hogtie those that think we shouldn't be there and let them live a day in the shoes of those Americans that are in the midst of what President Bush is trying to accomplish. I doubt even then they would see the truth.
It's that knowledge that makes this time so hard for me. It breaks my heart when even people that were our friends tell me that we have no business there and our guys should pull out tomorrow.
Thanks to you guys, I know that not everyone feels that way.
Sure, I know I'd like to be added to your list.
Thanks a lot!
I think it's a blessing that we were shown the right way and left a party that was hijacked by commies and socialists and terrorists.
Hi dutchess!!
I tend to forget it myself.
I didn't like Clinton the second I heard him speak.
Was rooting for Bush the elder in '92.
*lol!*
But that was WHILE I was a rabid enviro.
*scratches head*
I dunno how that worked out.
donno either! :o)
Thank you for the thread, Dutchess, and for the excellent Essay, JohnHuang2!
