PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE III (live thread)

45 minutes to go. If there is already a live debate thread go ahead and delete this.
I understand posting a live thread has become a somewhat of a political ordeal here, when it shouldn't be. So to take the pressure off, I'm posting this anyway. Do I dare? LOL!

I thought Kerry won this one
Care to tell us why, based on the criteria you measure with?
Now, I hope W is the winner, but I saw the President hesistant, stumbling over words, running out of words, things that he usually overcomes with emotion, like when I've seen him live and as I thought he did in the 2nd debate. I also thought that his answers to the two abortion questions were much weaker than in the 2nd debate, and this was contrasted with Kerry's very strong response to the "Litmus Test" question.
It burns me to see the evil side come out openly for the evil of abortion and then the good side, not be equally as forthright in defense of good. But hey, maybe I was just mad cause I lost a football game bet - or something.
Anyway the talking heads seem to think the President did well, from their lips to Gods ear.

I just heard Dimocrat governor Bill Richardson say on MSNBC that he thought Kerry had a "narrow" victory, which is Dim-speak for Bush won hands down.
So much for the *our guy got creamed* contingent we discussed earlier...some of whom are still shamelessly posting in this thread, spewing nonsense about a Kerry "win" or an overall "tie" with every post...

I think this was Bush's best(outside of immigration question), and I think Kerry really defeated himself bad at the last question. This is the first debate I'd say that Bush actually WON.
That said, I think we're going to be in a dogfight this election. It's a tie, and I think will be a tie (State by state) until election day. We have to work our asses off, vote, and be poll challengers to stop the fraud.

How be ya?
Its a double standard, always has been...
Look...
These debates were stacked against W from the start..
all the Moderators are Dems..
If any of them had been Pubbies, our ears would be bleeding from the whining from the Left...about unfair questions
You can bet yer sweet bippy, if a Pubbie had brought up his opponent's daughters sexuality, there would have been a civil war...
I'm apalled that Kerry can stand there and say what he would do FOR our Military, considering what he did TO them.
Cute, how he can look over a room full of people, and decide on sight, who makes over $200,000.00 are year.
He speaks to people as though he were chiding a Cocker Spaniel...( No offense to Cocker Spaniels!)
His obvious envy of First lady Laura, and his "marrying up" but no love expressed for Thereza..should set off warning bells, to women everywhere..
The worst by far, is Edwards saying that if Kerry was elected..people would get out of their wheelchairs and walk..
There is only one way to hit him where it hurts, and that is not to elect him...
There is no use trying to shame someone who has no understanding of right and wrong...

When did you hear this? Dang, I always liked his appearances. I saw him on Dennis Miller show around the time of the first debate, think he's working there now.

- Jesse is a spent force politically who is still trying to pass himself off to the Democratic power brokers as someone of influence who can deliver the black vote. Do you suppose they still believe that line?

Unfortunately the debate is not shown live here in Australia. I hope Mr.Bush did very well, as I'm sure he did.

You are aware that CNN awarded Kerry "the hat trick", according to that glowing windbag, Bill Schneider. And on Fox, Dick Morris was ranting that even though the President did as well as he could, that James Baker made a huge blunder in putting the Democrat agenda in this last debate. He said no Republican could win a debate on Social Security, health care, etc. I tend to agree that having these debates at all was a terrible mistake. Kerry was on the ropes before the first one, and now Bush has to claw for his life to stay even, thanks to the partisan media pumping up Kerry's debate performances. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
To: LegalEagle61
It surprised me. It's not like her sexuality is any secret. There was nothing there to make an issue. It came across as shameless.

It's clear that Bush has decided that the evangelical vote will decide this election and is doing all in his power to pitch to them Or, maybe he's just acting like all true Christians are supposed to act. IOW he isn't ashamed of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and it shows.

CBS said Kerry won. CBS stood behind Dan Rather. Case closed. Kerry totally blew it mentioning Cheney's daughter being a lesbian....low handed maneuver or should I say manure... Terryy Mc Calloff could not look into the camera and mentionONE bill Kerry sponsored and got through during his 20 years sleeping in the Senate. Bush won the last 2 debates easily.Kerry looked like death warmed over but all the bogus polling and spin will have Kerry winning all 3. Which means it's up to the American people to rightly decide and That scares me more than anything. I thought no way in hell Clinton would ever beat Bush Sr.
I don't know people, we have to get out and vote and get our family and friends out therealso. The media cards are Kery stacked and that is my main concern.
I pray for W. and it's a crying shame I feel any doubt at all.
