I understand posting a live thread has become a somewhat of a political ordeal here, when it shouldn't be. So to take the pressure off, I'm posting this anyway. Do I dare? LOL!
Yes, I posted on another thread that Morton Kondracke was absolutely LIVID about that. All kidding aside, I have never seen a punidt look so MAD about a question.
I think everyone thought Bush would whip Kerry handily in debate #1 and the others wouldn't matter, but the reverse is true; the loss of #1 woke him and his supporters up, can't just coast to victory, and Bush came back strong in #2 and--perhaps--closed the deal in #3. At worst, there is no way Kerry gained anything from this one. He looked like a corpse, with no empathy for the American people. W is our pal; Kerry is the creepy guy down the street who is so uncomfortable with his neighbors, and says awkward things like "How about them Red Sox?" when you meet him.
Kerry's folks cannot be happy tonight.
The DUmmies are probably voting for Bush at the FOX Poll. LMAO!
I've never seen Frist better. He KILLED Kerry tonight and Matthews only could laugh at the demolition, pointing out that even Kerry's remarks left nothing to be proud of considering he's been a Senator for 20 years.

Looked like she could spit nails. If it sinks in with women what Kerry -- the opportunist -- said in this one question, the women's vote just walked on him. My wife said she couldn't believe he had no expression of love for his current wife.
When you think it through Kerry has been nothing but an opportunists ever since -- right up through Vietnam, the state, congress and now. His convention was nothing more than trying to capitalize on the heroics of others and make you believe it was him.
I think Savage may drink WAY too much for his own good.

Very good point. In a country where people can't get enough gossip and the supermarkets can't keep enough National Enquirers on the racks, it makes sense that more people would know about Cheney's daughter than about, say, Cheney having formerly held the job Rumsfeld now has.
A Cheese Dick is a guy in the military who has the best looking uniform and can talk all the good talk, but when it comes to the test out in the field ends up getting either himself blown away or some of the poor unfortunates around him.
The nicer term is "a garrison hero".
