I understand posting a live thread has become a somewhat of a political ordeal here, when it shouldn't be. So to take the pressure off, I'm posting this anyway. Do I dare? LOL!

Frankly, I think he gained ground from anything he lost due to Kerry's litany of fact-twisting without Shieffer letting Dubya rebut.
On FOX, Mort and Krystol just re-emphasized that mentioning Mary Cheney was a HUGE TERRIBLE BLUNDER by skerry...wouldn't be surprised tomorrow if Kerry didn't have to apologize to her...yeah sure, that will be the day.
I'm expecting VP Cheney to get on the phone to sKerry promptly and DEMAND an apology to his daughter and his family for intruding into her privacy like this...it's not a relevent topic for Kerry to discuss...

Not only did Bush win the debate, but Kerry lost it with that remark.
Okay, time for my take. I certainly thought Bush did well and landed a few good punches at Kerry especially with the 1990 vote and his record.
Overall I thought it was a fairly boring performance by Kerry he offed nothing new except renewed criticism that were getting very tiresome and old.
I think Bush was relaxed. The only question I cringed on was when he was asked about rowe v wade and he gave like a 3 sec response which made me kinna LOL but it was a trick question and he refused to bite and then let Kerry step into it then rebut.
I think both were actually worn out from these debates but Bush looked 100 times better than the first debate

Well I'm not Siskel or Ebert, but President Bush definitely got the "two thumbs up." He looked good, spoke strongly and confidently, and had the facts down. Very litte stammering, and got off at least two great one-liners. Kerry looked pale, was rambling at times, and got his clock cleaned on the "faith" questions--there were several. On the whole, since you asked, I say President Bush won handily.
