You really should post a B.S Alert with articles like these in an age when truth can be stranger than fiction.

Over the last three months, holding a gun completely upside down has become the predominant method used by stylish gangstas whom, as they say, 'be fixin' to put a cap in a [person's] dome.'" LOL!!!!!!

You mean it wasn't because of the assualt weapon's ban. I thought that ended all violence in the street. It also made the country safer from terrorists, and Republicans.

In warrior culture, it isn't about killing the enemy. It's about being admired for your prowess and valor. It's about building a rep, not body counts.

I had actually heard that the knuckles-up [like knuckle-head?] shooting position was supposed to be more instinctive, because that's how most people point when they don't have a pistol in their hand. It would make using the sights more-or-less impossible, but for point-blank shooting either one probably wouldn't matter. I don't believe it's any better than at least taking the time to pick up the front sight. What I want to know is how gansta's keep those cheap little 9mm and .25's working without cleaning them. I want an article on how to maintain your Saturday night special so that if you toss it in a storm sewer someone can fish it out a week later and still shoot it.

Hopefully the next gangsta marksmanship trend will be with the muzzle end pointed back between the shooter's eyes.
If this article is a joke, it's an old one...September 2002.

I would like to register my outrage at this story.
NO ONE, I repeat, NO ONE; should ever take any action to correct the poor shooting skills of the "gangsta" element. Even pointing it out in a national publication works provides an opportunity for "gangsta" to read and learn. The last thing we need is the criminal element being able to shoot with greater effectiveness.
IMHO

While there is a
Keith Marcus at UofM, he is a medical student in otolaryngology and not likely someone who'd be giving interviews about ballistics or gunshot wounds.
While just about every serious firearms carrier has heard of Massad Ayoob and his Lethal Force Institute, I've never heard of, or read anything by, Marian Ayoob. A relative?
There is no doubt that this "style" does nothing for the Bad Guys' accuracy. But this story smells odd...

This downward trend will be reversed if Kerry/Edwards are elected! In Cincinnati, last week, Edwards promised that he'd provide extensive marksmanship traing to unemployedd inner city youths if he is elected. There was a little controversy when the dems showed a range with targets dressed in what appeared to be police uniforms. But, they gots to pander to the black voters!

Can you say...
"Couldnt hit the broad side of a barn!"OR...
"Couldnt hit a bull in the butt with a bass fiddle!"
Maybe they need to recite this while they take aim?
Who knows? It seemed to help in the book! hehehe
I do not aim with my hand.
He who aims with his hand has forgotten the face of his father.
I aim with my Eye.
I do not shoot with my hand.
He who aims with his hand has forgotten the face of his father.
I shoot with my Mind.
I do not kill with my hand.
He who kills with his hand has forgotten the face of his father.
I kill with my Heart."
Or...after running it thru the 'translator'!I do not aim wiff muh ma f__kin hand.
You be aimin wiff his hand has forgotten da face o' his daddy.
I aim wiff muh ma f__kin Eye.
I do not smoke wiff muh ma f__kin hand.
He who be aimin wiff his hand has forgotten da face o' his pappy.
I smoke wiff muh ma f__kin Mind.
I do not kill wiff muh ma f__kin hand.
He be killin wiff his hand has forgotten da face o' his old man.
I kill wiff muh ma f__kin Heart an dat boil on mah ass.

... a flashy new gangsta-style shooting technique wherein the weapon is canted 180 degrees from its normal upright position.
Shoot. I thought at first they meant 180 degrees the other way. Ha ha ha. This would cut down on murders.
