I always get a chuckle after reading the hateful comments you "compassionate" god loving people make. Point 1- The only people you tend to love and support are people that look like you and that are Christian. Well, the world and the US is made up of many different cultures and people and I would imagine Jesus, who I do believe was a great person/prophet, would have treated all people with dignity.
Point 2- I find it so interesting that the majority of people that are most concerned about terrorism in the US are the people from areas that the terrorists would never target. People from outside of the US are only familiar with places like Washington, DC, New York, California, Massachusettes, etc. They haven't targeted the "flyover" areas because no one abroad knows who they are. Also, don't you find it interesting that the people who are living in the states most likely to get targeted by terrorists are almost all voting for Kerry? Think about it. Don't you think we want to protect ourselves?
Hate and intolerance will not last long in this world. Conservatives are doing their best to make the US a living hell for anyone who doesn't think like them. Practice tolerance instead.

I went to Yale when John Kerry did, for two years. I was '64; he was '66. I debated against him in the Yale Political Union, and won. My grades were better than his. My SATs and LSATs were better than his. (I got into a better law school, to boot.)
Kerry was an arrogant, self-centered social climber then. He hung out with students who had more money and more social status than he was. He was always on the make. He still is.
For who he was, what he did, and the principles he stands for (to the extent anyone can tell what he stands for), John Kerry is an "ignorant liberal." He is also going to lose the election, and take down with him a number of Members of Congress, Senators, Governors, and state legislators.
So, you are dead wrong. And you're stupid, too.

Jesus had a righteous anger and if you were on the wrong end of that righteous anger, he did not treat you with respect.
To the man who called Jesus "good teacher". Jesus replied, "Why do you call me good? There is none good but God." Jesus didn't deny being good. But if Jesus was good, then He was God. If He wasn't good, he wasn't a fit sacrifice for our sins. But there are also numerous passages where Jesus did claim to be God. "I tell you truly, before Moses was, I AM."
I'm not saying that we republicans are always Christlike. We certainly can't judge the heart like Jesus did.
Your second point had to do with terrorism. And there is no way Jesus is going to respect people who have so hardened their hearts that they would kill little children. He is going to stand against them.
It is not possible to be IGNORANT and CONSERVATIVE. One must be educated and mature to learn the importance of conservativism in this life.
Prior to that, one usually has a ME FIRST, USE IT ALL UP-TO HELL WITH ANYONE ELSE attitude that the uneducated, undisciplined human life starts off with from birth.
