Unrelated topic just for laughs before the debate begins. My husband took a bill for $4 up to our local DNC for the cost of 2 car washes because there was egg all over our Bush/Cheney stickers Sunday morning. They stammered and apologized, etc. He was grinning from ear to ear when he got home! We don't ever expect to get reimbursed...just did it for kicks!

Official drinking game rulesROFL! Chug if:
Edwards points out we have yet to capture Osama.
Cheney pulls Osama out from under his jacket.

Even the panel couldn't keep a straight face when Andrea said that people don't dislike trial attorneys.
I think I see the loathesome Reagan kid on the panel.

Andrea Mitchell is on MSNBC saying that trial lawyers aren't as disliked as people think. LOL She's right (in a way)...they're even MORE disliked than people think :-)

I knew that would come up when I heard that was what the pubs demanded in order to have the 3rd debate.

She said something like Cheney is weak and asked to sit instead of stand for 90 minutes. Wondered what would have been said if she asked for something like that.FDR won WWII while sitting down.

Andrea Mitchell also feels that news reporters are highly respected, I'd wager.

Kerry confused OBL with Saddam today:
Kerry told reporters he disagreed with his wife's assessment that the possible U.S. capture of al-Qaida terrorist leader Osama bin Laden before the Nov. 2 election could be politically motivated.
He momentarily confused the man blamed for the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks with deposed Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, saying: "I have said again and again that even if Saddam Hussein is captured or killed in the next instant, it won't change my view about how I can run a more effective war on terror or how I can make America safer."

Hahhahahha,,,I love Mammy. My kids say I talk like her especially when I used to say "Girls who do,,,,,fill in the blank,,,,most generally don't catch husbands". We lived in the north east then and their friends just loved my statements about catching husbands. I was the only mother they knew who talked that way. The rest of the moms talked careers, sats, Ivy league. Those girls are all grown and still love me.

At least the faces GWB made were genuine and fit the context of Kerry's remarks. What struck me was Kerry's exaggerated nodding, "ah" expressions, "writing" (again exaggerated hand movements). So phony ... but what can you expect? It started when Kerry delayed his entrance so GWB either had to stand in the middle and wait or come over to Kerry's side and commit a "AlGore" space violation. Freakin manipulative the whole way!
(Ah, it feels good to get that out 'cause I was hurricaned out of the first debate's live thread).

Cheney doesn't intimidate easily, if at all. They're pathetic.
