The fact you are having difficulties is not due to the images (all the ones I posted are small file sizes, btw).

It is the hugh amount of folks on the FR obviously overloaded servers. Whether the images are there or not , is of little significance.

Come debate 2 and 3 and election night, it may only get worse.. images or not.

ABC News just reported that Cheney won the debate over Edwards by a score of 43 percent to 35 percent, with 19 percent undecided (I think).

Considering it was an ABC news survey, I'd add 10 points for Cheney.

Looks like the seasoned citizen put a little whoop ass on pretty boy's butt.

Cheney won the debate. I don't think he won it with a slam dunk, but he won it. My favorite part was where he castigated Edwards for not counting Iraqis as part of the coalition. Slammed him on Allies. I think he could have done better but Cheney did a great job. I thought the moderator was fair.

I turned off PBS after the debate ended, I refuse to listen to any Demopuke spin whatsoever. I'm sure the MSM will push Eddie boy as the greatest thing since sliced bread.

If I had any sliver of regard for Edwards (and believe you me...a very thin, very tiny speck-of-sand sliver)...I lost it totally and completely and forever when he brought VP Cheney's family, and especially his daughter, into the question about gay marriage. What a disgusting, despicable, slimey direction to go with his (JE's) response. For this alone, I hope he and sKerry are slammed/creamed/doomed in the election.

I have been to all the poll sites to vote and they are so out of whack in Edwards favor it is laughable. I almost think it would be better to let them stay this way. Cheney so obviously won this debate that in the legitimate polls in a few days Bush will get another good bounce. What you are witnessing is desperation.

All that said I would freep every poll you can, I am.

CBS a**holes at it AGAIN!!!

CBS just reported that in a survey of undecided voters the undecideds gave the debate to Edwards by Edwards 42% and Cheney 39%. BUT THEY FAILED TO MENTION THAT THE MARGIN OF ERROR in the survey was 7% -- 7% -- so you could actually claim that Cheney won it as well since the mergin of error overlaps by a huge margin. Partisan innumerate dumbsh**s.

I live in a Cleveland suburb and I can tell you that the 800 teachers is a fictitous number. They did have a LOT of layoffs of not only teachers, but firefighters,policeman, and other city employees.

We have a dunce for a mayor, Jane Campbell (D) whose ruined this city. She doesn't have a clue what she's doing. Her claim to fame so far is "adopt a garbage can" to get rid of litter !!!!

I think it was very telling in what Edwards said in his closing statement: "....I'm asking you, the American people, to give John Kerry and I the POWER turn this country around". (paraphrasing)
