Debate is ongoing ...
Are they?
I love the Republicans!!! Even Rangel didn't vote for it. LOL! Why, if he believed in this bill enough to advance it, didn't he vote for it? ROFL
Yeh, they couldn't afford to vote for it and then go home for reelection and try to convince their electorate we need a full-fledged military draft.
Al Gore must be weaping over that one.
McCain could throw you off a little too, seriesly.
No prob.
We all think we know what each other is thinking, so we sometimes forget to type with the relative context of the thread (like me).
Well, you just never know about Dan Rather and the DNCBS News!
Expect Cheney to use this event in the debate tonight!
I would guess Washington's Jim McDermott is one of the two democrats.
The idiotic thing about the whole "secret draft" campaign and the citing of this bill is that the 108th Congress ends on Jan 2. Next year, it's a new Congress and all legislation would have to be reintroduced. Not that any college student would have the slightest idea how our gummint works!
I hope our guys liked the feeling of kicking some Rat Butt and will do more of it in the future!
Make 'em come & take 'em back!!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh
I forgot all about this..........
Holy Crap.
I've now been on FR long enough today to see:
1. A bill get proposed for a vote, and that vote completed and...
2. An FR fundraiser begin and end.
(and I still have 3 more HPLC runs to do)
I think I'm gonna be seeing the "post" and "refresh" buttons in my dreams tonight. :|
We'll see..

How did Kucinich vote (or did he even show up?)
Speaking to Iowa voters Monday, Bush said, "We will not have a draft so long as I am president of the United States." see for yourself: http://snipurl.com/9kd5 email THIS: http://FreedomKeys.com/draftscam.htm

Dennis didn't vote. A disproportionate members of the Ohio delegation didn't vote -- probably due to the debate tonight.
Doh!
You are right.
I hadn't thought of that, even though I live right up here!
