Dear xxx,
The debate tonight presents a tremendous opportunity for the campaign to attract undecided voters, but people's perceptions are shaped as much by their conversations around the water cooler as by the debates themselves.
The Vice President's goal is to do what he's been doing throughout this election: explain to the American people why the President's policies are right for America and the world we live in today - in fighting the war on terror, in keeping our economy growing and in responding to the new challenges of the 21st century.
After last week's debate, the Kerry campaign spin machine managed to mask their candidate's flip-flops on the war in Iraq, imposition of a "global test" for protecting America, and repeated denigration of our troops and allies.
If we plan to win the election, we must fight back against their spin and make sure our friends and neighbors get the truth.
We need your help tonight!
Visit www.GeorgeWBush.com/DebateFacts tonight during the debate so you will have the facts. Print and share them with your friends.
Immediately after the debate, visit online polls, chat rooms, and discussion boards and make your voice heard. The major news networks will all have internet polls after the debate. Make sure you vote in polls on:
MSNBC.com FoxNews.com ABCNews.com CNN.com and even CBS.
Make sure swing state voters know why you support the President by sharing your thoughts on message boards in target states.
Call Talk Radio shows in your area.
Write letters to the editors of your local papers. Visit Chat rooms on AOL, MSN, and Yahoo! Send this message to 5 friends using the form at the bottom of this page.
Beyond tonight, you should return to these forums in the coming days and make your voice heard and your support for the President known.
If someone asks you a question about the President, direct them to the campaign's website, www.GeorgeWBush.com. It has lots of information on the President's Agenda for America (www.GeorgeWBush.com/Agenda) and the President's record of accomplishment (www.GeorgeWBush.com/Record).
We have said before, there is no better messenger for this campaign than you. There is also no more powerful medium for political discussion. As one of our online activists, you realize that.
Make your voice heard by completing the actions above.
Sincerely,
Ken Mehlman
P.S. If we plan to win the election, we must fight back against the Kerry campaign's spin and make sure our friends and neighbors get the truth after tonight's debate. We need you to complete the actions above and send this message to five friends using the form below. Will you help us beat the Kerry spin machine?
He can steer his yacht (the Scaramouche) without ever reaching a conclusion.
This sounds suspiciously like the email that the DNC sent out to Democrats last week prior to the debate. It prompted the marching morons to send emails to newspapers like the Washington Post explaining just how it was the John Kerry won the debate.
The Washington Post was honest enough to reveal that they were receiving these impassioned emails 4 HOURS before the debate occurred.
I just put a President Bush sticker on my mailbox and a HUGE Bush/Cheney poster on my front lawn. Letting my neighbors know where I stand!!!
It is not. I received this e-mail yesterday afternoon.
Happy Anniversary!
That's two.
As you can see, the hundreds of other media outlets didn't even bat an eye.
As today's MSNBC poll said today with one of their options: Kerry changes his position as circumstances change. It registered the most number of votes! This is his base, folks. We need to show strength in standing firm; i.e., making a decision and sticking to it! Outgun those liberals!
Activisim alert!
Be prepared tonight!
Exactly, and most undecided voters were more concerned with the color of Kerry's tie versus the color of Bush's tie and the fact that Bush had an "annoyed look" on his face for 90 minutes. Undecideds thrive on style over substance.
It's for real. I got the same thing from the Bush/Cheney campaign.
NUMBER ONE talking point after tonight's debate:
We live in an era when the president is a larger target for assassination by international terrorists than ever in our lifetimes. There is a very real possibility that John Edwards could ascend to the presidency. The left concedes that VP Cheney is quite capable of the handling the job (even if they disagree with his positions) because some already believe that he is really the one running things. Is John Edwards a man that we can trust a heartbeat away from the presidency?
This man ran away from Congress and hid at home on the morning of 9/11/2001. The capital building posed too great of a target for Edwards to stay there. District police came to his home to bring him into protected custody. Read about this admission on my profile page (I have a link to the full Larry King Live transcript).
Why would the Bush campaign follow Terry/DNC lead and do the exact same thing as DNC predebate email last week. Search FreeRP for this email.
The DNC got alot of flack for this email from journalists. Also if the CBS poll says 95 Kerry and 5 Bush it will so obviously show that they are a bastion of the liberals. CBS shows internet traffic numbers to their advertisers DON"T HELP THEM make money and pay Dan 8 million next year. None of these internet polls are mentioned on the Networks anyway. Better for all those polls to say 95 for Kerry than to say 60 Kerry/40 Bush. The lopsided response will show everyone they are all a bunch of liberals. Don't you agree?
It's on Georgewbush.com for anyone doubting the validity
We need to be more active tonight than libs were after the Bush-Kerry debate.
Oh of course!!! Because the New York Times didn't tell them to do it. But it is noteworthy that the WaPo did print the story and that the story did get attention.
Puhlease. Campaigns do this sort of thing every year, this is no different, you cant allow the competition to out maneuver you in any way.
