If this is a legit with no touch up, I'd say Kerry will atleast have to explain what it was. This is pretty darning (no swearing) stuff.

Everyone should call and write news stations to alert them about this, also talk radio would be a good idea.

Kerry deserves the full TSA body cavity search on the next debate...

...funny thing is, except for the bogus Snoozeweak with it's rejiggered numbers, even Rasmussen seems to show W as being stronger...I know I sure wouldn't have expected that.

It looks like a packet of 4x5 cards. If it was, he had to practice his moves on how he took it out of his pocket. From the slides the movements looks suspect as to how he approaches the podium and as I recall President Bush approached him on shake hands and Kerry was still doing some fiddling around at the podium.

I'll reserve judgment until we get some FR experts to look the slides. There should be good enough equipment to see what this object is and if anything is written on it.......maybe invisible ink or a remote etch-a-sketch from Carvel.

If Kerry explains what it is, Kerry will lie. Better to tell people to draw their own conclusions as to what it is.

So many of us noticed that Kerry seemed unusually well-prepared, to the point we thought he had the questions in advance. If Kerry cheated and it's pointed out, it will ring true with those who watched.

What a useless piece of crap, cheating like a kid that did not study for a high school exam. No surprise there !

< What does it really mean? Will it be a smoking gun? I don't think so, I doesn't seem to matter that he has lied about his experience in Viet Nam and that he would turn the security of the USA over to veto's by the UN. ie global test >

ummm...yes it does. The SBV's ads killed him in the polls...I think this will have an impact on some (and I'll take everyone we can get) people who value honesty if they perceive that he was trying to pull a fast one.

No doubt from the full monitor shot that he took something square and flat from his pocket.

There was no need to take anything to the podium (BTW, actually a lectern, a podium is what you would stand on).

His campaign signed the agreement, but no, he has to cheat. Goes with what the Swifties have said. And it is there for all to see.

Look at the side shots when he's handling his notes during the debate, while Bush is speaking, answering his questions. His eyes shift back & forth and was suspicious the night of the debate to me but now we know what he was hiding and why he was afraid somebody caught him cheating!

Any chance its not paper or pen but a "PDA" of some sort. I've seen credit card size "Rolodex" devices that could contain references to all sorts of talking points. For that matter, Kerry should have his hair frisked before the next debate. No telling what he's hiding under that foo-foo doo. The only hair I've seen look more ridiculous is Trump's. Donald, a democrat, said for business reasons he hopes Bush wins, but I think he just doesn't want the hair competition.

It's worth it to see if he took them off the podium at the end of the debate as well...maybe a clearer image.

I lightened up my display and can see it better now, so if people can't see it because it's a bit dark, temporarily adjust your monitor. The straight edge is plain and clear enough to see.

Not a pen, that's for sure. Looks like a 5x7 card, at least.

No pens, no paper, no PDAs were allowed. Whatever was allowed was to be put on the lectern.
